Safety Face Mask - Soft and Comfortable – Immediate Availability - UK Manufacturer – Pack of 4

I work in sterile servicing and use medical grade masks in some operational areas. I think these are a good compromise in design, quality and comfort compared to the ones I use at work, and I'm finding them ideal for wearing in shops etc. They're certainly far better quality than a lot of the rubbish I've seen being sold online. (laughably described as surgical masks!). If they had FFP2 accreditation, (which I believe they are pursuing) and a nose bridge wire ( not only a better seal around the bridge of the nose, but helps stop condensation on glasses ) they would be a five star product.I'm glad to see they have reduced the price to at the time of writing £17.99 for 4 masks.. So you will get 4x4 = 16 uses, ie just over a quid per use of mask. Hope the price reductions will continue !Please don't forget (as with all masks) you must use them for one session only. eg after a shopping trip, take the mask off and place in a plastic bag ready to take home for washing. Don't be tempted to use the same mask again until it has been washed. Also remember not touch the outside front of the mask (it could contain viral particles !) and of course wash hands or sanitiser after removal and bagging of mask.

Masks turned up quickly, packaging is simple but secure (see photo) - 4 masks in a clear sealed bag. A clear instruction leaflet is included. I've used my masks in the shops and also when I recently returned to work. I found they are a comfortable fit even for longer periods of time. The masks are perhaps a bit big for my face but it is still comfy and my partner finds the fit good for him. I've just noticed the company now do smaller masks on Amazon now too.I've washed my masks in the machine more than 4 times now and the seams are fine, the elastic is secure and the mask still feels soft and comfortable. There is just a bit of creasing on the surface but this hasn't affected the fit. I think you could wash these masks at least 5 or 6 times before replacing - probably more if you hand-washed - so the £ per wear feels ok to me for a UK-made product. I would buy again.

Good to see sourcing of PPE from a British company who showed some initiative to create the tooling and put into production. We should all now be helping the economy grow by focusing on producing and buying UK goods.The Government should be placing some long term PPE supply contracts with UK suppliers, well done Autin's in showing initiative during the Covid-19 crisis.

Really soft product material, MADE IN UK, delivered fast. Make a criss cross around your ears with the loop, which makes the fit more snug. Be careful not to overstretch the mask too tightly. On our first packet of masks, a small split formed in the white fabric crease on the lower half. Seller has since rectified the problem with an additional seal, and the items were quickly replaced. They arrived promptly as I expected from a UK manufacturer. They appear comfortable to wear, although I've not needed to wear one for very long and they also appear to wash well. I hope I never need to find out how effective a shield they are against a virus.

The masks are great and comfortable to use, you can breathe easily. I just think that it's quite overpriced given that I was only able to use each mask for 3-5 times, and each almost cost £5. Since this is becoming the "new normal" now and a MUST to use, I hope the price would be regulated soon.

Bought it on 08.05.20 at £25. Decided to invest for superior quality item (ffp2/3) + support UK manufacturer. Mask no ffp2/3 certified. Contrary to advert you can only wash 4 times before discarding. Now wire strip over nose bridge to adjust/fix mask. Manufacturer brought the price down to £12 few weeks after my purchase showing no ethical approach. Quality does not match price paid for.
