Digestive Enzymes. Complete with Lactase, Amylase, Lipase for Optimum Digestive Health.

I've been taking this brand of enzymes for 5+ years. I take one or two with any meal that contains alot of protein, fat or carbs, and it helps me digest the food quicky and efficiently. I used to often have undigested food in my stomach more than an hour after even a small meal, which lead to passing gas, burping and sometimes GERD. But since using these enzymes, that is no longer a problem. I used to take acid blockers because it felt like I had an avid stomach. But within 2-3 days of starting to take an enzyme with every meal, the burning in my stomach went away and I no longer needed the acid blockers.Before starting enzymes, I did quite a bit of research. This product is formulated by master supplement maker, Jon Barron. I found his articles about how he formulated this product to be very compelling. The formula does NOT contain hydrochloric acid (HCL) / stomach acid. Jon believes that if you need that you should take it separately due to the timing of when stomach acid is needed versus the other enzymes in the digestive process. His formula must be very well designed because it has worked well for me for years. I've never had any side effects of any kind.I usually take it with one of my first few mouthfuls of food, but I find it doesn't matter that much when you take them. I have taken them as much as 30 min Jess after a meal, off the meal is not digesting fast enough on its own, and within 15 minutes, and burping and feeling of being overly full goes away indicating the food is now digesting.These enzymes work so well that, if you take them with every meal for a month or two, they will get your stomach and your digestion working so well you no longer need to take them with every meal. I now only take them for meals that I know I won't digest as well. A couple years ago my digestion was so good I stopped taking them entirely. But as I get older, I gradually needed to take enzymes again. So, now I taker this brand regularly, and will plan to take them for the rest of my life, as needed.I will also mentioned that I developed gall stones a couple years ago and was able to successfully avoid having to have my gall bladder removed by working with a naturopathic doctor, and by taking a small dose of bile acid daily. But I feel these enzymes were also an important part of the regimen that got me through it. They digest fats and protein so well that it removed the main triggers of the gall attacks, and in conjunction with dietary modifications and liver support, has removed the unhealthy environment that was causing the stones.

Not really noticing anything different, pretty expensive for nothing notable to claim.

Evaluated these versus a blend from Dr. Jockers and the blend Digest Gold. This one wins. Been using it for about a year now, very happy. Note that if one has issues with fat digestion or dairy digestion, you may well have to augment with another enzyme blend (such as Lypo Gold for fat digestion).For a broad-spectrum enzyme blend, this is perfect.

These have been very effective digestive enzymes for me thus far.Positive:-Vegan (therefore Vegetarian, of course)-Fairly High Potency-No junk fillers and binders and garbage additives that impede health-Non-proprietary formulation, meaning you know what dosage of each enzyme it contains,-They really seem to be effective and work for me, which is saying something as, despite eating well most of my adult life, I have Crohn's and other autoimmune issues due to too many rounds of antibiotics and other medical bungling as a child, so I have a lot to contend with and sometimes I really need the extra help of supplemental enzymes to digest food and have bowel movementsNegatives:-Very expensive, even compared to other high end enzymes (both proprietary and non-proprietary; by the likes of Enzymedica and a few others I have used over the years)... The cost of this has had me skimping on digestive enzymes more than I should, which really doesn't help meAlthough these are working well with me, I am probably going to test out a different company (Allegany Nutrition) when I go to reorder digestive enzymes (very soon), as I have found the Allegany Nutrition HP270V product contains higher doses of many of the enzymes (though a slightly different profile) and it also a lot cheaper too, it is less than half the cost of Baseline's per capsule/ dose, when ordering the larger bottle (although the upfront cost is a good bit more). The cost of Baseline's product is about 70 cents a cap (shipping factored in, about 60 cents without shipping), while the ones from Allegany Nutrition are about 30 cents a cap, when purchasing the 270 count bottle for $79.95 on amazon. Both are vegan and do not contain fillers and useless garbage, both are high potency, both are not proprietary formulas. If the other product doesn't work out for me, I am still uncertain what I will use next,as the cost of this one is prohibitively high for me, unfortunately, for the amount I need to take.

These digestive enzymes are the best I've ever tried. I have SIBO with extreme acid reflux, the worst I've ever had. Every time acid strikes I just take 2 of these jewels and immediate relief! Now if I could just remember to take them before eating food that is problematic it would be all the better. However these enzymes work even taking after meals. Amazing product, thank you so much!

I took a chance and it worked out! I am very sensitive to almost all supplements, causes migraines or stomach upset. Digestive Enzymes by Baseline are PERFECT!! Everything was that wast stated about there product was TRUE. No fillers, etc. I am looking to buy other products by them as well.
