Hop on Pop-Up (Mini Pops) Board book – 1 April 2002

This is a great book for young people who are just starting to read. Dr. Seuss wrote fantastic books for young children who are of a novice reading level. The style of writing consists a limited vocabulary well understood by most beginners and a very clever repititive/poetic pattern which appeals to young readers. It is amazing that a complete book could be written using so few words. Hop on Pop is very good for those who do not know many words but know a few and would like to learn more.

There is something wonderful that happens when your child first picks up a Dr Seuss book. They love them and the adults find them funny too. Great illustrations and the poetry of the words are very good for teaching kids to read without them even knowing it. "Mouse on House, House on Mouse" - they laugh when they see the house on top of the mouse.

High quality, great book.

I loved this book as a child and it is one of the earliest books I remember well (end of the '60s!), so it was an obvious choice when looking for a book for a very small person! Delivery from Courtyard Books was really quick, thank you John!

Stop! You must not hop on pop!But you must buy this book if you love a giggle with your kids. Makes learning to read so much fun, a real classic.

The walrus has no head on page 9! Very strange to read about a whispering walrus when it has no head.

Hop hop we like to hop we like to hop on top of pop. STOP we must not hop on pop. Easy to read great rhyming and rhythm.

Great book,purchased for my grandaughter

My daughter is 1.5 years old and totally in love with this book !! Real handy for kids, the funny rhyming words makes it even more catchy for kids. She learnt a lot of words and relates with real world. Toddlers would relate with the book more as it talks about the routine things they would see around.. I am eagerly waiting to buy rest of Dr. Suess books and more than that can't wait to see how my daughter reacts to it !!!

Ai bambini piace il rimare in strofa del libro ma non c'è una trama e come altri libri di Dr Seuss finisce per essere una filastrocca nonsense...comunque i miei bambini sfogliano le pagine recitando qualche strofa a memoria! Personalmente preferisco libri che narrano una storia.

Mia figlia di 5 anni adora dr suess, ne abbiamo già parecchi e i ascolta tutti più e più e più volte volentieri fino ad imparare interi pezzi a memoria!

An original Dr Suess but small size.

Inhaltlich ist es fünf Sterne wert. Die Bilder und Texte sind sehr schön gemacht. Leider ist das Buch nicht so stabil. Meine kleine hat es in kürzester Zeit in alle Einzelteile zerlegt. Da haben ALLE anderen Bücher mehr ausgehalten.

This was a favourite book for our children, and is now a favourite book for our granddaughter.

This is a fun book and our son loves it. Well, loved it a little too much in his crib - he ate all the edges off and it's now circular, rather than square. Lesson learned, and still a great little book that he enjoys reading!

Classic toddler book. I've read this to my daughter since she was 1 and she practically has the book memorized. She loves it!

My daughter really loved it. she herself pick up this book and start reading... this is the first book that she is so keen on reading...Even after one month now, she picks it up before sleeping and says let me read it for 5 minutes.... Great Book.I must share that this book was recommended by her class teacher during PTM.

Will be suitable for kids who are very much accustomed english from 1year otherwise its for kids 3 and above

I bought this book as a gift for my Italian niece - her mother wants to familiarise her with english from a young age. It's a wonderful and funny book, full of rhymes and word-play to stimulate a young child's imagination.

Problem was, this was a board book for toddlers....and it did not have the full story...it had been edited for little people. I was hoping it was the original full version, and, in fact, I needed the full version so had to re-order it from another source.

Amazing book, I and my little one both loved it.

Lovely book by Dr. Seuss. Bought it for our Toddler and he enjoys reading it so much. Beautifully rhyming and engaging. Very well illustrated too.

With Dr Seuss books kids start to read easily.they just don't stop laughing .
