A good compromise
This is a nice phone mount. It is clean and unobtrusive when not holding a phone, I really like the absence of a white printed company logo that many similar ones have. The magnets are strong enough to hold the phone if it's in direct contact with the metal disc. If the disc is inside a phone case. I have a Galaxy S5 with a metal plate inside the case. This worked fine with my prior holder but for this one I needed to stick a disc on the outside of the case.Vent based phone holders have to strike a balance, if the magnets are too strong you'll pull the holder off the vent each time you grab your phone, too week and your phone could slip. This one has a nice strong grip on the vents and does not come off when I remove my phone. I had a permanently affixed mount before which was stronger but you have to pick your mounting place carefully. This one is easy to move (or remove). It can be out of the way on a side vent, or move to a center vent if I need to charge my phone. It can easily move from car to car.The pivot on the head is convenient but a bit too weak for a large phone. It holds o.k. on the highway, but if you hit bumps it will end up tilted down. A slight annoyance and it does not cause the phone to be released.

Worst product EVER! Doesn't work at ALL.
I purchased this product because a friend order the same one via amazon and loved it . I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and will be returning it for a full refund. The item I received was not NEW and did not work at all.1) The packaging for this item arrived open.2) The product the company sent me, was used (the holder and the two metal disks were scratched and dirty).3) The phone holder didn't hold the weight of the phone at all.I attempted to use both metal disks under my thin plastic iphone (5s) case and the magnet on the holder did not hold the weight of the phone.I also tried attaching the metal disks directly onto the back of the iphone and the product still could not hold the weight of the phone (even without the case).I'm disappointed with the purchase and would have given the review 0 stars if possible. This item is being returned immediately.

This is great
This is exactly what I was looking for. I was a little worried that the magnets would not be strong enough to hold an iPhone 7 but it has worked great so far. I put both magnets between the phone and the case and it is working great.

Looks great, but doesn't hold up an iPhone 7 Plus, it sags down and doesn't stay forward. I keep having to adjust it often and unless the phone is leaning on something it won't hold the weight.

This is better looking than WizGear, but...
Pretty good cell phone vent magnet. WizGear is a bit stronger, but this design fits better in luxury cars. I tried with the magnet inside the case, which doesn’t work as well as putting the magnet outside the case. WizGear stronger magnet works both ways, so it doesn’t affect the looks of the case.

Works great!
Worked very well and just what I needed. It can turn 720°, and holder firmly on my air vent. Didn't want a bulky holder, this is small and compact and works great!
