The Creo Bag - 6 inch

Works pretty well but for leakage soot that comes out the rod hole. After a while you learn to pinch the hole tight but even then soot gets all over everything. Perhaps a damp dishrag clipped with binder clips around the hole might help. Best price I've seen is here @ $6/bag.

Comes 3 creobag bags per pack and after three years used my last bag and just reordered more. Because I have steep metal roof and stove pipe that extends 8 feet above my roof I have too clean my wood stove pipe from the bottom. Had 2 chimney sweeps come out and after seeing my metal roof set up they jumped in their trucks and left. My only solution is using the creobag. The total length of my stove pipe is 28". After securing the stove pipe with a rig I built, I remove the bottom stove pipe connected to wood stove and attach creobag using their strap. I first put the 1st rod attached to the brush in the bag. I then add 6 additional rods using the slit in the bag. Does some soot leak out in the process? Yes, but it is limited and I don't fault the bag, but the fact I'm working from the bottom up. Gave it 4 stars because I think they are over priced, but is the best solution to my stove pipe cleaning process. First tried a large trash bag, but that leaked more soot than the creobag bag.
