I am totally dissatisfied!! **Q: Can the interpupillary distance be adjusted?** A: The distance between your eye and glass is fixed. The outer glass can be adjusted for comfortable vision. **Q: will I be able to see the tiny fine hairs on the face doing electrolyses? other concern is falling of as I work always facing down** A: Thank you for your question. According to the product details of use; For close up work: focus distance of 16 inches. They aren't too heavy so they shouldn't fall off your face if looking downward, but may slip slightly. **Q: Will these work for focusing more than 16 inches away? Say 24 to 36 inches?** A: They are meant for work within 16" from the glasses. However they still may serve the purpose you need them for. You could also look into the MaxTV, they are great for 10' plus, but could still work for you. As a person who is legally blind due to premature retinopathy these classes are the only saving grace to be able to read regular print and small print without the aid of my iPhone zoom feature. Sadly they arrived at my house with the packaging smashed, the box carrying the glasses smashed, and the glasses are broken in half with the nose rim broken in half. I write this review not to dissuade you from buying these wonderful glasses, but to spread awareness to a possible endemic incompetency Buy one of the distributors from Germany to the US. I hope that you and you get your pair of glasses they will not ride in such a god-awful state of disrepair and neglect. Fortunately Amazon I was always was swift to refund me my money into my account after I returned the broken product.
