Smart control does not work.
It is really sad that seller would dash a customers hope and excitement this way. I didn’t buy this particular fan but I bought a similar one and applied the same idea of being able to smart control it. As another reviewer have noted, theses fans require local manual control even with an IR remote. If you turn off the power by any means, the fan does not come back on after you turn the power back on unless you use the remote control or manually go operate the buttons on it. Basically, forget any WiFi or Bluetooth control. It sucks that seller would make this advertisement when they know it does not work.

Impressive features - which don’t work!
Eh... the fan does NOT remember any settings once the power is taken off. When you turn it on, you STILL have to click the button on the fan directly in order to start it...#FAIL #FalseAdvertising
