Worth money but has shortcomings
Book was worth the money for the examples alone. On the downside the reader is left to fill in the dots too many times. Book referenced rxjava rather than explain some fundamental concepts itself. The examples gave the impression that they had been hurriedly produced.

Badly structured and wasted opportunity
Half of the book talks about the reactive programming history (Pointless) and c++ perquisites needed to understand rxcpp library (acceptable amount of information, readers will need to do research on more complex concepts such as atomic and c++ memory model if unfamiliar). The actual content on rxcpp is badly explained and structured. For beginners it doesnt provide enough information, for the people who knows roughly how rxcpp works it doesn't provide enough information so somewhat pointless. It needs to take a deeper dive into the Rxcpp library and actually connect dots it mentioned in the book. This book could have been so much more. But I do recommend it for absolute beginners who have only started on rxcpp and reactive model. You will need to do a lot of googling on the second part of the book where it actually talks about the Rxcpp library. But with this book, you can at least start on learning rxcpp.
