wow was not impressed by quality of this. at 18$ a piece i bought it for one-day shipping. i'm sure there are other sources in-store.. I needed a foam seal for blower wheel and the lint vent. the original foam has been worn and melted causing steam and residue to accumulate.Anyways, definitely make sure the residue is cleared off the surface, and make sure its CLEAN. I failed to do that for the bottom of the blower wheel section and now the foam adhesive is no longer sticky. It wouldn't be a problem but i stretched out the foam a bit at the bottom and now its come undone causing a straighten . causing me to cut it and do a hack job seal at the bottom.these foam pieces are probably worth 1$ max to make. my laziness and impatience to wait = profits.

Worked well for our machine even though tge brand wasnt exactly the part called for. It fit well and did the job. This os fairly easy to apply once you get to that part of the machine. Make sure you clean the old glue off of the machine in order for the new glue to bond well. DIY Female, this is pretty basic stuff. (Time consuming) Otherwise, no need to bring in a proffesional.

I ordered this Whirlpool authorized part even though the actual length wasn't anywhere in the description. I had to assume that for $15 it would completely replace all the necessary foam on my blower housing. Wrong! It's only enough to replace one of 2 pieces. Additionally, it was packaged so poorly that part of the paper needed to cover the sticky side of the foam wasn't adhered to the foam. A good portion of the foam was instead stuck to the plastic package. It was impossible to remove the foam without it breaking in several places where it was stuck to the package.

This is a very small, 1/2" and will at best have to be doubled up on to make it work for me. It is just barely OK.

It would be nice if there were two seals in this kit, because there are two seals for the blower motor ducting.

It does what it needs to do.

had all most no seal left, I had to replace to help keep some of lint and air form escaping tube going in the bottom drier this help seal the blower housing to tub out side.
