It works.
The product works. The flavor is good. My yogurt maker makes 1.5 quarts at a time, so I have to use 2 packets which feels like a bit of a waste of money. I tried it with only one packet but ended up with something that looked like cottage cheese floating in clear whey which I used to make smoothies rather than throw it away. I've had a little bit better luck making smooth thick yogurt using purchased yogurt from the grocery store to culture my homemade yogurt, and it costs less too. With a $2.65 quart of store bought yogurt I can make four 1.5 quart batches of yogurt. Either method makes great frozen yogurt in my homemade yogurt maker.

Works as advertised!
I have always used a high-quality store-bought yogurt or reculture from a previous batch, but I bought this to try and it worked beautifully with 2% milk: thick and creamy and a delicious taste. It's nice to have the option of using either a dry starter or ready-made yogurt as a starter. I am using this with the Culture Cupboard/Country Trading Co. Stainless Steel Yogurt Maker and I'm very pleased with these products.

First time using dry culture
This is the first dry starter culture I’ve ever used in making yogurt. Previously I’ve only used commercially prepared yogurt, ie., fage or similar. This made good yogurt but it wasn’t quite as tangy or quite as firm when strained. We still enjoyed it.

Good stuff 👍
Made goat milk yogurt, which tends to be thinner than yogurt made with cow milk. Had a nice mild flavor which made it appealing over berries for little kids. Easy to use. Instructions were very clear. I made a second batch using the first as a starter that also turned out well. My tummy is very happy with this probiotics blend.
