forcing you to reposition your hand to use it easily without strain
I got this because of wrist pain while editing photos and to be honest, I haven't been able to use it correctly the last 50 days. First I had to buy a metal mouse pad, so it would slide decently on it while you hold it correctly. My problem comes from using the scroll wheel, which is positioned towards the back of the mouse, forcing you to reposition your hand to use it easily without strain. If the wheel would be placed at the end of the mouse, easily reachable to your fingertips, it would make for a great mouse. Another annoyance is the DPI resetting every time I restart my computer.Other than that it's a decent mouse for everyday use. I am still in pursuit of the perfect vertical mouse. This is the second one, first try was Havic vertical wireless mouse.

2 1/2 years later, here's my review
I believe this is my 3rd vertical mouse. Longevity-wise, it has probably lasted the longest. I started looking into them after getting strain from decades of computer usage (esp. w/ design, programming, & audio purposes). The build on this isn't bad and it can be used for hours, once you are used to vertical mice in general. They are a different beast than your standard input device. On the rare occasion it has connectivity issues, but it might just be my USB extender cable. If I were to make some changes, I would made this mouse even more vertical than it is. As it is today, your hand relaxes down more like a standard mouse than I'd like it to.I would also make the scroll wheel far more tactile than it is. It's a bit slippery sometimes. This mouse works nicely overall, but there is some room for improvement.Final verdict:There are no half-stars on Amazon, but I would give this 3 1/2 stars out of 5.[I only rounded up, because I thought some of the other reviews unfairly dragged the overall reviews down.]

This is the wired mouse you have been looking for!
This is my third vertical mouse and this hits the sweet spot for price and performance. I am a motion graphics artist and PC gamer. I use a mouse for 8-10 hours a day making many thousands of clicks! My first vertical mouse was made by Anker. It worked but the thumb position was unnatural. After long periods it caused hand cramping. This mouse has a more ergonomic feel where that matched the position of my hand at rest. This results in a very comfortable mouse. It has a wrist pad, but I do not use it. For very precise movements I need to be able to plant the heal of my palm down and rotate my wrist, much like you might do when using a pen. The wrist glider/pad prevents me from doing that. Removing it is easy and takes about 2 seconds to snap off.The adjustable DPI is nice because sometimes I need to get really precise and have granular control over a movement. The DPI cycles between 3 readings, which I interpret as slow, medium, and fast. Most of the time I use the med DPI, but going in on the slow is killer! This is my second mouse of the exact same style. I was using this style and the Anker style, but these are really inexpensive so I just got another.

Two broken within a short period of time
I initially liked this design and of course the affordability of this but then the scroll wheel stopped working. I tried to troubleshoot it but ultimately returned it for an exchange. That one worked for about a week and then the scroll wheel stopped working on this one too. I hadn't even had time to return the last one yet! I'm done. They're only 15 bucks but it's not worth the hassle. Don't buy this thing or any of the hundreds that look like it under different brands.

I love it!
I bought this bc i was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. Thought it probably wouldn't hurt to try one of these crazy looking mice........within 2 days.....most of my pain was gone. What a huge difference. I've regained the use of my thumb which has been is a huge relief. I will never buy a basic mouse again,So originally, I was trying to get a wireless mouse, when it came with a wire i was about to turn around and return it, but figured I would check it out anyway. It took some getting used to but was relative easy to adapt to the style. After a day of use, decided to keep it since the wire prevents it from falling off my laptop table and hitting the floor and breaking(why i had to buy a new mouse in the first place) So all in all, I got the mouse i truly needed. Thanks to my crappy laptop table. lolUPDATE: This mouse started to malfunction after a month or so of use. Seemed like hardware failure. I am returning it and re ordering it. Ill keep you updated

Lasted 1 year
If new to this kind of mouse, takes a few days to adjust. Once adjusted, you'll be find. Problem is after 1 year of use, the mouse wheel no longer works properly. Produce is now useless. (but at least I got 1 year).

Wonderful mouse! Very comfortable
Wonderful mouse! Very comfortable, and the 2400 dpi option makes it very sensitive and responsive. So ergonomic and comfy and responsive in fact, that I don't even have to move my wrist! I glide it around less than 1/4in. in my fingers with my hand stationary and my wrist at a comfortable angle, and I can operate the full screen with just those motions! Forward and back buttons on the thumb for easy web and file browsing, scroll wheel, the works. Great mouse! I'm very happy with it!Pro tip: For those new to vertical mice, you may be tempted by the odd feeling and handling of their unfamiliar style to apply downward (desk-ward) pressure on them. DON'T DO THIS. You WILL hurt your wrist. Rest your hand around it, like a normal mouse, and let it glide around normally. Vertical mice are so comfortable you will not want to go back to regular, but they take getting used to. It's well worth it, though. Especially this one!
