Last winter we left the boat uncovered and a little clean up this spring and looks great.

Storage compartment not sealed and hold water
The views of this seat did not show the storage compartment. I assumed it was sealed, my mistake. There is no door or no way to keep water and no drain. Compartment hold water, so nothing will stay dry that's "stored". I'll give it a 3 rating overall, but a one for design.

Doesn’t come with bases or seat backs
Even though the picture shows deck mounting brackets and a seat back, it doesn’t include these parts.

Great buy/Great leaning post
Absolutely the best leaning post. I removed both beat up seats & installed this.My Hydra Sport is now a complete fishing machine it lasted 6years through the winter and summer's before the seat cushion needed to be replaced I never covered it or took care of it
