Good for a blind person.
A nice device. Great for a person who cannot see. All function talk accepts for one. The only thing that doesn’t talk is when you need to set the way you want it to read the distance in Miles or Kilometers. The buttons are easy to feel being they are razed. It also keep very good time as far as if you leave it just sitting around and come back to it months later and check the time. Mine I didn’t need to set the clock even after 1+ years of just sitting in its box. You can hear all the information by pressing and holding the top button until it starts speaking other information then the default one you have it set to. You can also have it speak thing automatically like every 1,000 steps, I think it is every half mile etc… But you can also turn off the automatic announcement. However it is all automatic announcements either one or off. You can’t just turn off one of them. Note! If you have it set on distance and the automatic announcement turn on, then it will only speak the distance. Same goes for the steps, time etc… It only speak what you have it set to as far as the default when you press the top button.

Works better than some other ones we've
Bought this in May. Just replaced the battery and now it doesn't talk. Will repurchase but it's for my mother who has vision problems. Works better than some other ones we've tried

This is perfect for her morning walks and gives reassurance to family
My grandmother has macular degeneration and I got her this talking voice pedometer for Christmas because it is difficult for her to read the numbers displayed on all other pedometers. She absolutely loves this mainly because it will read her daily information to her! Additionally the pedometer has a high pitched emergency alarm that when the string is pulled the device lets out a high pitch sound until replaced. This is perfect for her morning walks and gives reassurance to family. She has used it every day now for four months and appreciates having a way to keep track of her activity using the talking pedometer.

Really like this pedometer.
I had one before and I dropped many times with no issues. Well I lost it and when I found it, I think it got ran over so I needed a new one. I really like this because while I am walking I can check my steps. When walking in the evening/night I feel safer because there is an alarm. One never knows when you may need it. Thank you so much.

Two Stars
it is not accurate on step distance. I had to go to 48in. steps to get the mileage right.

Not worth it if you want it to talk.
I purchased this pedometer for a person who is blind so he could hear how many steps he walked each day. He was only able to enjoy it for about four weeks and then the pedometer stopped talking. This was very disappointing.

Don't waste your money on this
It didn't work at all. The counter was a couple of hundred steps off when I compared it with my Fitbit and another pedometer I had. Don't waste your money on this.
