Zoohot Fountain pen Jinhao 750 Medium Nib Chinese Luxury Pen (Color flash)

I understand that this pen can be rather hit or miss, but I was pleasantly surprised! For a $9 pen it was surprisingly smooth, has good ink flow without any tinkering, and is pleasantly smooth. I didn't need to do any tine adjustment or nib polishing at all. I was tickled to find out that for a steel nib it actually has decent line variation without stressing the nib too much. I did soak the entire nib section in hot distilled water for about 10 minutes prior to inking it, and that usually makes a big difference. One other thing I like is the heft and sturdy construction. Well done, Jinhao!

It's amazing that they can produce and sell these pens at this price. They are well made, write well and come with a converter. Being all metal they are a bit heavier than what I'm used to, but if you like the heft of a metal pen you won't be disappointed. I changed out the nib for something with a bit more flex, but the pen is fine as it comes.

Pros: nice nib, comes with it's own ink converter, shiny, good looking. Cons: thick, heavy, big. Ink flows too quickly. I bought the Jinhao International Size Pen Ink Cartridge and it just bleeds out of this pen too fast, making big black blogs on your paper. Nice tip, I like a thicker tip. Better for a larger/man's hand than a smaller/woman's hand. And it's very heavy. I'll try a thicker ink, and see if I can get used to it.

Careful posting it as it will loosen the cap. For the price excellent pen buy a few they are cheap and write excellent.

Very sturdy, reliable, and attractive pen. I own about a dozen fountain pens and this is the one I enjoy writing with the most. If you prefer a feather-light pen, this may not be your first choice, but the weight adds to usability and is reflective of the sturdier materials used in construction. This is a fantastic value in fountain pens.

Great Pen, very inky the nib is broader than I'm used to but once I got the hang of it this was just a great pen to write with.

I can't believe a pen this inexpensive works this well.
