This quilt measures 42" wide by 40" high. I have NOT yet added a hanging rob picket or tabs as I've found some buyers don't want those. I will add one or the other by request at no additional cost. The colors I chose for this piece are shades of purple, oranges, yellows, greens, even two shades of black. The bumble bees wings are black and white mini floral. All of the top fabrics are 100% cotton, the batting is all cotton and the mini-checked backing is 50% cotton, 50% polyester. There are so many vibrant colors in this piece, it will go in just about any room in your home. Kids and adults will love it. I machine embroidered it in a very open-work swirl design so that the stitching doesn't distract from the beauty of the piecing. The applique is done by machine satin-stitch in colors to coordinate with the specific fabrics. If you love summer-time, but you don't really like live bumble bees, but know their amazing story and want to include that in your home and life, consider this wall-art. If you have kids, you can tell them the story of bumble bees as they enjoy this on your family room wall. I recently sold the "bigger sister" of this design and as stated in that listing I am in love with this design and that I would be doing a very similar one in the near future.
