I got a lot of compliment when I used them fishing this past weekend. I really kove them. I was only able to use 2 of the 3 I ordered. One item did not have the straps inside this holder. I hope this company see this review. Shipping was fast but disappointed not having the straps inside. Also, it would be nicer if they mske the staps at least 6 inches lionger. The pier where I fish has fatter and bigger beams so there are spots at the pier that I could not use because straps were short to wrap around. I will give it 4 instead of 5. There should be a quality control to make sure items you order are complete. I probably need to contact amazon so I could get the numbers. The 3rd holder is useless without the straps.Rosalia Scott

One of those great ideas that I wish I had thought of first!! Easy to use and a big help at the dock, especially when kids are fishing too! One of my PierAMount holders arrived from Amazon without the straps, but the Pier-A-Mount company has AMAZING customer service. I contacted them Friday evening and by Sunday night I had received a message that replacement straps were on the way.....and THEN they sent an extra holder as well!!! This is top notch customer service! I recommend these holders because of their ease of use, versatility, and the great company behind them. Happy Fishing!!! The Pier-A-Mount rod holder performs more-or-less as advertised, and is well-made enough. But the straps need to be a bit longer in order to live up to the "Universal" part of the product's name.

I initially had an issue as part of the product was missing. The company promptly addressed the concern and sent me the missing items. The rod holder is a cool, versatile product for anyone fishing from kayaks or from shore/ piers etc. My friends and I will get a lot of use out of them. well made, simple, and effective.

I wish this had some sort of rubber on the backside to prevent it from slipping down the metal rails of bridges where I fish in the Florida Keys.

Straps too small for pier. Put them on wagon to hold poles!

the straps that came with it are good for a couple moths of use only after that they just not work properly,If you buy it get ready to buy extra Velcro straps for future use
