Your satisfaction with this backpack depends on what you're looking for in a dual gym bag and yoga mat carrier. I've been searching far and wide for a gym bag that could also carry my yoga mat, so that I don't have to continue to walk into work looking like "the bag lady" carrying my purse, my gym bag, my yoga mat bag, my lunch bag... the list goes on. While I think they've got the right concept going here as far as having the yoga mat positioned vertically and parallel to the rest of the bag, it wasn't big enough to hold my athletic shoes (then again, I have big feet- size 11) as well as a change of clothes, a medium-size towel, a yoga block, and a couple of basic hygiene products. It felt "stuffed" - something that could have been ameliorated just by making the bag a few inches deeper. Not to mention the material, while thick and sturdy, feels cheap and plastic to the touch. Definitely not comfortable if you're wearing a tank top and have the bag resting against bare skin. I'd prefer a product made from cotton or canvas that doesn't chafe as much and can "breathe" a little... I mean, I'm often using it to transport sweat-dampened clothing from the gym back home.So, if you're looking for something basic to get you from your house to the yoga studio and back, and just need it to carry a water bottle, a towel and maybe a yoga block, this is a good solution. If you want something that suits your standard gym bag needs in addition to carrying your yoga mat, keep looking.

This backpack is absolutely EVERYTHING if you are an active gym go-er. It fits clothing, shoes, toiletries, phone, etc. It's incredibly easy to slip your mat in, which stays put gracefully- and is great for every day practice or a drop in class on the go. Trust me when I say it's not too small. I literally use it daily since I received it and it goes from the gym, to yoga, to the office, and back with me. When you buy this product you are supporting an imaginative, highly accommodating home-grown idea and concept. This IS the future of yoga wear. I am no longer toting around 2 bags to the gym daily.... fumbling around, and bumbling my way into the locker room or yoga center. You will not regret this purchase. Thank you Susama! The bag itself is nice, and I like that it has 2 larger compartments in it. They are both a little smaller than expected though. My biggest issue with the bag is that the clip on the strap is cheap and doesn't hold together. Numerous times I have been walking or standing carrying my bag and the clip has come undone on its own dropping my bag to the floor. I bought this bag so that I could ride my bicycle to yoga, but I can't do so because I'm afraid my bag will fall off during my ride. If it wasn't for the fact that the window to return was already up, I would have returned the bag and gotten a refund.

I buy off Amazon all the time but have never felt compelled to write a review before. This backpack is perfectly designed and has always been a struggle finding one that can carry my mat, flask bottle securely and still has enough compartments for change of clothes , toiletries and books etc. I was worried that the one strap would not be enough when cycling but much more comfortable than standard backpack. Good quality fabrics and manufacturing. Great value. Love it and exceeded my expectations.

So far I am really enjoying this bag! It holds my yoga mat extremely well and I never feel like it will fall out unexpectedly. There are numerous places to put towels and clothes. I have not yet tried to fit a yoga block in, but my gym shoes fit and the space seems ample. The only complaint is that with my regular backpack it is a little hard to wear both bags, but there's not really a way around that. By itself the bag is comfortable and there are no issues. I love that is has places to hook a water bottle and another pouch for a water bottle! Gotta stay hydrated!

This bag is perfect for my trips to the studio! I used it 30+ days in a row for yoga teacher training and I even took it to the beach several times in HI. I certainly tested the durability. about 20 days into my training the adjustable strap broke while on a beach hike. I was able to tie it.

Very nice bag! I love that it goes over the shoulder and across the chest instead of others that you have to carry with one hand. Been using this back multiple times a week for over 6 months now and is plenty of space for my 2 blocks, straps, clothes, keys, water bottle, and yoga mat. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the mesh seam on the water bottle and mat side pockets is starting to rip a little. Nothing a little needle a thread can't fix.

I absolutely love this product. It has a ton of room and very light weight. It holds your mat very securely. you can fit anything you would need for traveling to and from yoga class plus other essentials. This product also serves well just as a regular back pack so it serves multiple purposes.

Love this bag, it's everything I was looking for and I can fit everything I need for my class in this one bag, room for extra stuff needed for the gym or swimming before my yoga class. I plan to order the towel to go with my bag but need to save for this. Highly recommend this company and they are so helpful and understanding. Ordered on my prime account and it came the next day perfect. PS I have just received my second bag from this company as my husband was so impressed with my bag he wanted one, he also wants a towel when I have the money we will be ordering 2 X of these.

I really like the bag - carting a backpack plus yoga mat in a strap is getting too annoying for me now. My only problem with it is that my manduka black mat pro is too big to fit in the mesh part to hold it in, and the weight of the mat loosens the straps holding it in too.*update* I bought a manduka prolite to carry around, and this also doesn't fit in the mesh part.

good comfortable bag which held my yoga mat well and lots more stuff included costume and towel, walking and cycling with bag good, only problem is I am struggling getting used to putting it on my back, one day I will work it out, ends up on my front, everywhere :)

This bag is such a great investment! I was worried about the single strap at first as I have never really used one, however I love it. There is a good amount of pockets and I think I find a new one every time I use it! the matt fits in perfectly, and theres no worry it will come away from the bag. A bit of a night mare to wear on your back on a packed train, however the clip on the front makes it super easy to detach, especially when you're lacking space on a train to fully take it off over your head! A great product and will be using constantly! Love it!

Found it unstable and larger than expected. Easier to carry yoga mat separately. Expensive for what it is
