Stunning Scooter for the money!!!!!
I purchase all the time on amazon and to be honest I never do reviews - but felt this seller/ scooter needed deserved one, as I've read the reviews on here and to be honest I think some are unfair and probably false. This scooter is all there for its money, seems well made and you get a nice bag to keep it in. It arrived promptly from Amazon as normal, it was easy to set up, I checked everything was secure and safe and I was out on it!! Happy Days!!This last year we have all changed our buying habits and more of us are buying on line -But what I have learnt many haven't the time or desire (like me) to do reviews but it seems everyone has all the time in the world to do a bad one!!!Make up your own mind, If you want one - buy one - If you don't like it send it back and get your money back - its as simple as that!!Stay Safe Be Kind and Enjoy!

Terrible Product and Worse Customer Care Service
I bought this for my 11 yr old son to go a short distance to school with think that a larger bulky scooter would easily manage his only 40kg weight. After 2 weeks the steering mechanism jammed which prevents twisting the handle to turn making it extremely dangerous. I sent a return and repair request to the seller/supplier and after 2 months of begging them to collect and repair I have finally given up, now I am writing this review as a frustrated father who's son has been walking to school instead of easily scootering for because these useless seller only care about selling and but forget that post purchase experience is far more important. DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

Excellent scooter and amazing value for money
I went through a few listings before finally settling on this one. It arrived quickly as well, so I was able to use it over Easter, when we took the dogs out. It came in a sturdy box, with the tools to put it together and a carry bag as well, which I didn’t realise was included. To get it rideable all I had to do was tighten a couple of screws and it was ready to go. It is an amazing piece of kit for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The only downside is my girlfriend keeps using it and I don’t get a look in at the minute lol.

Sturdy Scooter That's Light but Has Issues
I got the Atom as a starter scooter. It only took a few minutes to check over and assemble, and it's fairly light. Over 24 hours it's had a good going over. It seems well made, and sturdy, apart from a few niggles with the handle bars set-up which I don't like. Fitting the handle bars is a bit fiddly at first and it's easy to lose them when you're carrying the folded Atom. I'm using a rubber band because the grips don't hold the handle bars securely enough when the whole thing is folded down. The retaining cord has already come out and the handle bars are already scratched. But I do like the ability to quick-switch between scooting and carrying. The Atom was delivered much quicker than I expected. That's good, but if I hadn't have been at home I'd have missed the delivery. Amazon and the courier could perhaps have told us the delivery was on its way. Over all I do like the Atom and the 'free' carrying bag which is very handy; I'm glad I got this as a starter. You definitely feel like you've had a good work out on a scooter, saving time and money to boot. The first things you'll notice are the annoying handle bars, and the rubber wheels will give you a rough ride especially if you scoot in Devon with all its rough paths and roads. You're better off in areas designed for smooth surface eco-transport. However, the Atom's base plate is sturdy, comfortable and non-slip, and the brake is good enough. In general there's not much to fiddle with when you get the Atom. It's so quick and easy to fold and carry, you could take it almost anywhere. That's all convenient and good but I think I'll upgrade soon.

Excellent quality scooter
Very smooth and comfortable ride. Easy to set up, and quick height adjustment for changing riders (my son keeps stealing it). Great quality. Will be able to use it for my commute as well as trips out with my son on his bike. Thoroughly recommend.

Gold has changed colour
The product in itself should be fine - everything is quite sturdy. Not sure why the colour I ordered is different - I liked the 'yellow' gold - it's certainly not the 'rose' gold I got - if I knew what colour they would send, I would have saved myself £20 and got the white or black one.Box was damaged in transit - but that isn't Atom's fault.Installation instructions seem to have been written by a robot on a different planet, and with no real understanding of what you need in an installation guide. Images could have been clearer - and there was no mention that you had to remove a plastic part on the handles before you could insert them - maybe this was obvious - once you knew - but it is this kind of information that someone wants to see so they don't get frustrated.I was disappointed with the finish - there were numerous scuffs, scrapes and dents underneath the frosty paint work. Given the price paid for this item, I would have expected a greater attention to detail.I found adding the stand annoying more than anything - there were no instructions for this; my advice to people who have struggle with this (it seems to have been in other people's comments) - is to mate the nut to the bolt with the threaded bit upwards (i.e with the bit of blue plastic in the nut downwards) - this will help enormously.Clicking mechanism to lock the scooter in the upright position required more force than I expected; but that could just be me.

Design fault
After much research I purchased 2 of these - one for my daughter and one for me. I used one of them for the first time and the metal bolt/nut in the flap Over the handle bars (on the left) shown in photo worked itself loose and fell out. I am getting a refund having returned the scooter. It’s a shame and I think a design fault - you can’t have the screws too tight as then you can collapse handle bars but if they aren’t very tight they work loose when ridingIf that could be fixed would give the scooter 5 stars as it was light and easy to use but without I am sorry to say don’t buy. Have gone for a more sturdy and sadly more expensive brand
