This product seems to be kind of hit & miss. I think it depends on how "new" the product is & whether or not it has been sitting on the shelves for awhile. I have re-purchased it several times & each bottle seems to be a little bit different. I completely recommend using a mitt over gloves because it dries super fast. The color guide is really good so you can see where everything is going. It doesn't leave you feeling stick either which is a big plus for me. I usually buy the 'dark' one & the color is okay. I would recommend possibly adding a second layer if you want to be really dark.

I read so many good reviews on this self tanner I was so excited to use it. the color guide was very dark so it was easy to see where it went the smell was very pleasant no self tan odor it didn't staIn bathroom. it dries very quickly but almost too quickly I felt kind of rushed because it dried almost instantly it was very hard to blend with gloves so I suggest using a Mitt. I was super dark after I was finished not orange but this morning when I showered it all came off. the only thing to hand are my hands and fingers I look ridiculous. I purchased the dark formula so I expected to be dark but nothing is there. the tan on my hands and fingers is very nice so I'm going to try again tonight and write an addendum to this review addendum: I applied it again last night this time with a mitt which made a huge difference in the blending dept but I just got out of the shower after having it on for 11 hours and again it ALL washed off..very disappointed will not buy again.

I usually buy the LA Tan medium-dark from Walmart and really love it....but they were out for a long time so I ordered the dark from Amazon...It is a bit dark for me...still great product. You MUST apply with a mitt for an even application with any sunless tan and exfoliate before....Please offer the medium-dark on Amazon.

NO,NO NO. I scrubbed my hands for 10 min. This is NOT coming off. It says wash after application. I IMMEDIATELY washed them in between applying. Tan everywhere else is good though.
