Not too much to say.We have had the same type on an another stove. So, basically, it looks good and can be handled with bare hands. It fit well on a half-inch rod. It is a very good value.Just got it today; thus, the rating for durability is, of course, a projected one based on heft and overall perception. Should it fail, I should update the review.I would order it again.

It was actually the wrong size for my stove but I made it work. I had to use a vice to make it smaller and it wasn’t easy to do. This proves how high quality this product is.

This fit my stove handle as expected, but the shape is a bit more round vs the stock handle on my stove. My stove handle was a bit more oval (elongated) vs this handle which is a bit more round. That does not make this spring handle better or worse, it's just different. Might be a perfect match for some but was not a perfect match for me. Now I have mismatched handles and I'm deciding if I care enough to buy 1x more to replace the stock handle.

Our cast iron wood stove didn’t come with one of these. The only reason I give it four stars is because at the very end of the coiled handle, the end piece is a little bit Sharp if you grab it wrong. I’ll together still works great, great fit… I just might take a hasp to it to file that little piece down a bit

I needed to replace the deteriorating wooden handle on my Olympic stove and this handle made it as simple as simple gets - pull off the old one, screw this into it's place. Word of advice however: deburr both ends of the coil before installing - they're really pointy & sharp. Smooth sailing after that.

We used these on our fisher wood stove. They fit perfectly, and made it look like it did when it was new. Ours were burned off the stove, when a wildfire burned our house. We refurbished it, and if looks great.

On my fireplace insert the wood handles it came with finally fell apart so we got these. They are so much nicer to touch than the stock ones. Even when the fire is full blast the handles are still cool enough that they wont burn you unless you hold on to them for a while.They twisted on without any trouble and are holding pretty firm. Not as tight as I thought they'd be but they're staying put and they work nicely.Good buy.

Could not find any handles to replace an outdated fireplace insert. After seeing these spring handles for BBQ I decided to give them a try. PERFECT and are better than the original wood handles.
