A good choice for yard or garden.
My wife wanted a yard cart large enough to put flower flats and bags of dirt in so she could move it around the property. Our house is on a hillside so we wanted a cart that would be stable on uneven ground and easy to push. We also wanted a unit that could dump like a wheel barrow. The Rugged Ranch Muck Cart looked to be the best for our needs.UPS delivered the unit and left it in the driveway leaning against the garage door. By the time I got outside the truck was already headed down the road. Good thing or I would not have accepted the package. The box was in terrible condition. The box was beat up and split open, barely held together by the shipping tape. I grabbed the box to put it in the garage and it came apart in my hands. The plastic tub was hanging out. Nuts bolts and washers were strung in a trail down the driveway where the driver had carried the box from the truck. The plastic tub had another box with the metal frame and hardware tucked inside it and since it was protected on three sides by the tub I decided to look inside the inner box. The boxes were not suitable for return shipping anyway. The inner box was just as bad. Holes were ripped in the box that allowed the loose nuts and bolts to fall out. I looked over the metal frame and hardware and determined it was not damaged. Luck was with me, all the hardware was there too.The next morning I dropped the tailgate on my pickup put the tub in the bed and began to assemble the parts. Assembly is fairly simple, which is a good thing, because instructions are nonexistent. The package comes with a parts list and basic blowup of the cart even this had a hole ripped in it. The cart can be built with a simple screw driver and a pair of pliers. However a ratchet and a #14 metric socket makes the job go much faster. I started with the axel housing which is as good as any place to start. When mounting the tub to the axel housing watch the bolt length as two of the bolts are longer to attach the front support. Center the axel before you tighten the bolts. The rear support legs can be placed either inside or outside the handle supports. I placed mine outside close to the edge of the tub for better stability. A little light grease on the axel put on the tires and it was finished. It took about an hour in all. I took it for a test run and found it to be light weight, easy to handle and stable. It is not a heavy duty unit and is best suited for light to medium duty yard work. This is a well-designed unit and should provide good service for many years. I would have given the Muck Cart five stars if not for the terrible way it was packaged. The shipping boxes were the cheapest I have seen and the hardware should have been placed in a plastic bag. I was fortunate that nothing was lost or damaged.Further use of the cart reinforces my first opinion it is easy to handle even with a heavy load in it. My five year old Granddaughter can push it around. It is stable and doesn't tip over on uneven ground or a hillside. All in all a good choice for yard or garden.

Words cannot describe the nightmare that is the packing and assembly process for this cart
Box, as delivered, was falling apart, spraying nuts and bolts as we picked it up. The nuts and bolts were free to move around because they were not in any sort of baggie or container. Fortunately, I've got a lot of spare hardware. The packaging was so unprofessional that we actually found an empty packet of Trident bubblegum among the random mess that was the cart. There are no instructions, only an explode diagram that labelled some, but not all, of the parts.Once we get this built, my review may change, but for right now, this is the worst packaged item I have ever received from a vendor and I was sorely tempted to send it back. Unfortunately, UPS said they wouldn't accept the box for return shipping, and I didn't want to pay $20 for the giant box I would have had to buy.Mine is not the first complaint about this vendor's packing and lack of instructions. At some point, this may negatively impact their sales and I hope that they will, at that point, be motivated to provide at lease minimally acceptable packaging.

Packaging disaster
Looks like a nice cart(when I get it together later). Appears to be well made. Even so a little pricey. The problem is with the packaging. Not protected enough and poorest taping and tape I have ever encountered. Nots and bolts not bagged but put loosely in holes in brackets/tubing. Were literally falling out on the driveway when Fedex ground delivered it. NO instructions. Emailed Rugged Ranch direct and asked for instructions....Nothing. No response and no instructions. Hopefully I can get it together with some of my own hardware and it should be a nice cart. Ill try to update after Christmas when I put it together.

I'm posting my review after buying this about a year ...
I'm posting my review after buying this about a year ago. The packaging was substandard and I did have 1 bolt missing which I replaced myself. (Amazon sent me an email asking me about the quality of the packaging, so maybe they will prompt the shipper to make the necessary improvements.) I would have given it 5 stars if not for the packaging. The main reason I chose this particular cart is because it has the flat-free foam-filled tires. This is also why the cart is rather pricey as the tires alone retail for about $100. Another reason I chose this cart is because it is well-designed for dumping loads of dirt and has a steel frame that extends up to the front top of the plastic tub.
