But in coconut milk it certainly is a fast and easy way to make a quite good Thai curry, especially if you goose it with some fish sauce, lime, and cilantro. Simply take half the can of this paste and saute it on medium-low in a bit of oil. Then add whatever protein you'd like and veggies and saute for a bit.Add a can of coconut milk and simmer on low until the protein is cooked. Taste the curry and if it needs more spice, just add a tiny bit more paste, stir and cook for a bit. If its too hot, add some sugar or maple syrup to melow it out.
