For those of you struggling to find the right pad for your sofa bed,this product definitely will bring you a four star or more smile.The pad is well made and the bottom of it has a nice fabric anti slipfabric which holds the pad in its place. This is important as the pad doesn't come withcorner straps to hunker down on the bed's platform.The smell was noticeable but not overwhelming unless you are super sensitive to new product smells.We aerated in open air for a day. Also, we bought a pad zip cover that also doubled as an extra layer of padding.This too reduced the smell.Overall..for the good eye.. a very good buy.

This works great in in the standard full size sofa bed in my motorhome. My rig originally came with an inflatable mattress that, although advertised as super high quality, was a hassle to inflate and deflate and was a really unsightly old fashioned looking mattress. Hard to look at uncovered and even worse when it sat there uninflated. Hated to even pull the sofa bed out, much less actually try to sleep on it. I was embarrassed to offer it to guests and certainly didn't want to use it myself. As a 6'1" 200lb man, I just don't like inflatable mattresses to begin with. This new Lifetime mattress looks great, sleeps great, folds up great, bounces right back when it is unfolded and I'm just delighted. There's no inflation needed! I read every single post before buying. First of all there was no smell. I did let it sit out for 24 hours to expand. It is as thick as my old sofa matteress, however no springs and isn't made the same at all. It is more of a topper. I believe it's over priced. It's made so so. The quality is just alright. I'm keeping my original matteress and this is placed on top since I leave it open it's convenient. When I close it I would need to remove this one. It seem comfortable. I just can't see using this as a replacement sofa mattress..

Before ordering, I had all kinds of questions in mind about the "wiseness" of spending money on a new mattress for my older (yet good quality, sturdy) sleeper sofa. Based on previous reviews, I decided to buy it. Glad to say that the product has gone beyond my expectations. It is well made, fits the bed frame very well (full size), easy to unpack and install. It is comfy and I am sure my guests will be satisfied with the sleeping arrangements I am providing to them. Great.

The only issue was that the mattress did not expand to the advertised thickness. It fell about an inch short. Ended up using it atop the old mattress.

It is the wrong size for a sofa bed. Now I have a big heavy mattress that is impossible to roll back up and return. We are senior citizens and are so dissatisfied. Any suggestions out there for us ? If we get ups to pick it up it will cost a fortune for them to pack it. Cannot get it back in the original box.

Surprised by how lightweight it was ,easy to handle and sleeps well. We bought this for my sons rental unit and slept on it ourselves. Guest have left us very good feedback about how comfortable it is. Folds easier than the old one did. Would by again.

I'm very disappointed. This is a terrible replacement mattress as it is WAY TOO THIN to be used by itself! It is a plush and comfortable topper for a regular sofa sleeper mattress except that you can't fold the couch with the heavy topper on it. It is very heavy and bulky to try to roll up and awkward to store. It is very difficult for me to manage alone even though I am a strong and healthy female. Because I didn't order it from an Amazon Prime supplier the cost of returning it very expensive as it is so heavy. I don't recommend this mattress unless you use it as a topper and don't plan on folding it into a couch.
