Micro Grill

Had my first one for over three years, maybe as long as 5-7 years. Sometimes i am just too lazy to grill. Great for burgers, dogs, etc. Obviously not the flavor of a grill, but it will definitely do. Just ordered one for a gift for someone who wanted mine.

I was skeptical at first of this product, but decided to give it a shoot, and It was a surprise to me to find out that it just cooks like a grill, although not exactly the same, the food sure it is very tasty, recommended!

Yep--I've had mine for 6 (or more?) years, I use it several times a week, and I absolutely love it. OK--I'm single, and live alone, so keep in mind it's just for one person. But I've found that it's so quick and easy for so many things--hamburgers, vegetables, sausage, steaks, etc. And usually I can put them in either thawed or frozen and adjust accordingly. What I've learned--basically, I preheat the grill for 2 minutes for just about everything, then I tend to cook for shorter time periods--that is, I err on the side of shorter rather than longer times. For instance, a typical thawed hamburger is fine after about 1:30 minutes. My microwavew is 1260W on highest power, so it's a pretty high powered one. The key, I think, is to let it remain in the microwave after the cooking time is done for a good period of time (like, up to ten minutes); it'll still be hot, but cooked through. I really hope this product never goes off the market, because someday I'll need to get another one.

I may have had one of the first of these years ago or one similar..but it would smoke when I used it so tossed it being afraid that the smoke was toxic..This one DOES NOT. I followed the instructions of heating it first then washing it. I then grilled some vegan no oil sausages in it ..that came out crisp'ish within 4min. They didn't stick. Clean up was a breeze...this is a real boon for those following the Dr. Esselstyn no oil vegan diet!! to get things crispy without needing oil

this item was delivered to me Thursday at 2 o'clock by 4 o'clock it was in the trash can it's literally caught on fire in the microwave I remove the food tried it again and it caught on fire I am very dissatisfied with Amazon that they would sell a product as dangerous as this I never write reviews I feel it's my duty to warn people about this product

I purchased this as a replacement for a microgrill that finally fell apart after years and years of use. For the single diner who loves grilled food but doesn't want to use the outdoor grill, this item is the fast and easy alternative. Steaks, chops, fish and veggies an be quickly grilled in the microwave without the use of any oils. Healthy, fast and delicious food. I use the microgrill almost every day and would really miss it if I hadn't been able to purchase a replacement.
