Poorly nourished food do not buy for quails
This is not nutritious food. I lost a whole flock of quail and only when I put half of my flock on this stuff, and half on another food I realised the birds were malnourished and hence sick on this food and that’s why they perished. Get better starter grain for babies and high protein for adults. This is not suitable for quails.

Not sure about this
I used this to feed the 10 peachicks I had hatched. All of them died. They had brooders and clean water, were in a safe environment. And were fed this food. They did not die all at once but over a period of several days. No food is marketed just for peafowl but they have been OK with food for game birds and chickens.

Good mix
Good quail mix! I must have really picky quail as they have refused to eat two brands of quail and game bird feed, but they will eat this! Hurrah!

NOT suitable for quail chicks!
Five of my quail chicks died after receiving this food! I changed the food and the rest have been fine. Apparently there is an additive that can be fatal to quail - I can't see if it is in this product as it is in German and the ingredients do not seem to be listed. DO NOT BUY FOR CHICKS!! If I could give no stars I would!
