Not suited for broad horses
This is a lovely looking rug and I like the material over the neck to allow more movement. However it is definitely not for a stocky horse. I bought this for my Irish draught x cob and it’s just way too tight. The chest is fine but the belly flap is too short and it’s too tight on his bum and back. The mask is a bit small more like cob size than a full size but it fits my filly well so I’m happy with that.

You get what you pay for
I would have given this 3* but the delivery was so late, even though it said "dispatched" a day after I ordered it. After two days (rug off at nights) I have two rips in my fly rug.I ordered size 6ft, the "free" fly mask probably wouldn't have fit on a 12h pony.Nice novelty rug but I wouldn't leave my girl in it over night. I think I'd end up coming up to the yard with her stuck in it.The material is cheap but you get what you pay for.

Greatly reduced the fly problem for my horse!
Great value for what it does. My horse suffers badly in the summer months with sweet itch and this simple but effective cover works. Fly problems not so bad so my horse is far more likely to leave her shelter and go outside. Does need some re designing for next year as clips are a little too heavy for the material but otherwise fantastic!

Good fly rug
This has lasted really well this summer, no damage at all. Definitely protected from horse flies, of which there were many, but did allow small flies to get trapped underneath. Not a problem for our pony as it's the horse flies that upset her.

Reasonable rug at a reasonable price
I thought this was quite a good rug for the money, proper buckles at the front instead of clips, had a belly cover and proper leg straps and a free mask. My only concern was that it seemed tight at the front but I suspect a bigger size than a 5'9" (my three are all 5'9" in all their rugs) would have been too roomy. I see a reviewer has complained that the neck is skimpy....I definitely wouldn't say that, ample room on mine.

Good for Price, just didn't fit my horse.
Fit was good pretty much throughout, except around the shoulder/neck area. It was quite tight, before he even out his head to graze, I wouldn't say he is massively big chested, and his breeding is believed, to be CBxAngloArab.However absolutely no problems returning and receiving a refund.

Absolutely thrilled with this rug and matching hood.
Absolutely love this item. I'm so pleased with it and the fit was amazing. Belly a big big but I stitched it a bit shorter so my youngster can grow into the belly area as she fills out. Good quality and affordable price. Love it.

Sizing/fitting issues
Bought 6’9”. My horses other rugs all this size and have no fitting issues. Unfortunately this rug is not suitable if your long horse also has a high wither and deep shoulders/chest. Far too tight even with the shoulder darts (not in the correct place) I only bought this cheaper version to attest to wether the zebra stripes activist deter flies. Happy to say it seemed so and the mask fitted fine. Shame the front of this rug was totally unsuited to the sizing
