Via Spiga Women's Metallic Packable Down Coat with Belt

I really like this jacket. It's light and packable and the belt helps provide a sexier shapely look. I was concerned based on other more critical reviews, but I feel this one is a win for the price. Don't expect it to be a heavy duty down coat and you won't be disappointed. I needed it to be "packable" as described and it is perfect for that with a carry bag provided1. no problems with zipper or gold buckle, I've been careful to pull slowly and be gentle with the buckle, contrary to others, I LOVE the rich gold hardware! Goes great with my Vince Camuto boots with gold accents.2. no problem with down feathers coming out of jacket either3. I wish the black color was more metallic or pearlized, but it is more on the glossy solid black side4. Very soft and supple in movement. I'm a size 6-8 typically (135lbs 5'5") and bought the size Medium fits just right. If I were to wear multiple layers or thicker sweaters I could see how others would want to size up.Overall very happy with my purchase!

This Blue Via Spiga puffer is a nice as alternative to the normal, ubiquitous black puffer coat. It kept me warm in my Manhattan, NY trip last November. It is likely good in keeping you warm to a maximum 32 F degrees. Sizing is somewhat generous. I purchased an Xtra-Small with my fingers crossed, because the Small was double the price. Surprisingly, the Xtra-Small fit with light sweater underneath. If you are top-heavy or larger in the girth, or plan to layer heavy sweaters underneath, stay with your normal size. I generally wear a size 6 (sometimes a size 4), 34B bust, 27” waist, slightly under 5’7, carry my weight in my bottom, and the Xtra-Small fit.

This is a great coat for the price - exactly what I was looking for - lightweight, pack-able, stylish, and affordable. It's funny - when I bought another style Via Spiga coat the "small" size was too big. This coat - the "small" was just right. I'm 5' tall and weigh 112 lbs. If I had a tiny complaint - it's that the zipper is a little "sticky" when starting it...once you get it, it's fine. I know that other customers commented that the belt seemed flimsy or broke - that has not been my experience. The hardware seems sturdy and the gold-tone is really nice with the black.

Excellent Value! This coat fit as expected and is very comfortable. The cinch waist is a nice feature and is "built in" to the jacket. It is soft and lightweight. Compact as shown, it does easily fit in the bag provided. Hood is detachable and roomy. Sleeves are nice and long as well. Great jacket for business traveler. Looks dressy and professional. When stored in bag can be used as a travel pillow! It is lightweight enough to use as a raincoat. Big enough to fit layers underneath for very cold weather. The length covers the "behind" which is great for cold weather, sitting but easy to walk in. Highly recommend.

Great jacket. Wore it in 40 degree weather and I was too warm. Only con is the collar is thick and wont lay down. So it rubs my face which is irritating since i wear makeup. other than that i love the jacket and get lots of compliments.

I like the coat but love the price. It's stylish, fits well and it's very light weight. I would not wear it in temperatures below 40 degrees. The only problem I have is the belt rises when I walk.

I like the jacket, but the buckle broke after the first time it was washed and dried in the dryer! I am very disappointed in the quality of the metal belt!Amazon was so great to send me a 2-second jacket, for no additional cost, and the problem repeated.So now I am done with this jacket good!

Very nice coat. A bit big however. Kind of wide like a bell near the bottom. I prefer coats a bit more streamlined. Price was good and I love the color so I'll keep it.
