Plushcraft Purr-FECT Pillow

I am an adult toy collector, usually 1/6th scale dolls as well as vinyl figures and lots of plush ponies, unicorns, and kitties. Those of you following my reviews will have read that my fiancé died in May 2015 and one of the phases I went through in processing his death and transitioning back to living alone and single was an odd period, and a long one, during which I did lots of girl's crafts, specifically girl's crafts, tons of them, sticker mosaics, paint/color by number, necklaces/bracelets, paintable plaster statues. I needed them to be simple, engaging, and pretty in order for them to distract me from my circumstances, but craft kits geared toward adults were too complicated, and I just didn't have the brain power to knit a blanket or something like that. I did a great deal of these sorts of crafts as a child, they were my mother's favorite thing to buy me as presents, and while I would have chosen dolls or plush instead, in fairness to her, the crafts and kits and puzzles she chose for me never went undone. So I guess she gets mom points for that, right?THESE plush pillows really worked well for my needs. I bought three, the kitty, the unicorn, and the pony. I've completed the kitty and unicorn and I'm working through the pony now. I'll bullet-point the highlights and answers to the questions you may have.- one of the pictures I've attached to this review shows an unfinished pony pillow next to a Barbie scale doll and as you can see these pillows are quite petite.- there are no instructions, you get a pile of fabric swatches, a tool to poke them into the perforations in the pillow, and a little piece of paper identifying what numbered holes go with which colored swatches. It is not hard to figure out what to do, but I follow comments on my reviews, so if you do have difficulty you can ask me and I'll help you.- if you look at my picture, you'll see, the unfinished pillows are high quality and they have a vinyl panel on the front which has numbered perforated holes into which the fabric swatches are punched. It is an easy process and a peaceful activity.- the whole project takes an hour or so. Just long enough to be work, still short enough to be fun.- the kitty and unicorn pillows I've already completed look, when finished, exactly as portrayed in the pictures. They fit very nicely into my collection, your girl (or boy) (or you) will love having the pillow once it is completed. Good ol' Amazon~kitty-loving kid party invitation; type "kitty craft" in the search, select item based on positive reviews...this was it! Purchased to accompany a few other kitty items for a turning 7 year old family friend. One of the other guest kids was familiar with this craft, and the girls quickly got to work! So easy, no adult needed after the child quickly learns what to do (like 5 seconds, lol). This will be my go-to party gift for the under 10 crowd, although my 10 yr old daughter thinks that they are adorable and would like one. I see more designs when I browse, so maybe she will get a cute "tween" design~gotta hold on to that youth while they are still interested in this cute stuff! Great item : )

We purchased the pillow for my 7 year old daughter for christmas. She was excited to open it up as soon as she unwrapped it. The pillow is the size of small dinner plate. The colors are bright. The directions in the box are not really clear but it was easy for my girl to figure out. From start to end it only took her 20 minutes or so to complete. The eyes and nose are attacked with velcro that is included. She loves it so much that she is already asking for another one. The price is better that at Walmart and Hobby Lobby.

I purchased this for my 10 yr old to do while she is in bed sick. It is the first kit like this that either one of us ever did (I had never even seen a kit like this). I purchased a couple different style kits at the same time and had them delivered "next day" using Prime to keep her busy and try to cheer her up while she is stuck in bed. I added pictures starting at about 3/4 of the way done. She was able to get this far in about 11/2 hrs of going slow (since she's sick and running a fever). She had it figured out and was working it immediately, didn't even need the directions.Instructions: The small square pieces of material are color coded (SEE pic of back of box)..One at a time you poke a piece of fabric into the correct hole using the purple plastic utensil (Very easy to do), the numbers on the cat are corresponded to the fabric colors on the box. I will be buying many more of these and am sorry I didnt find them for her sooner. I tried to attach Photos showing the pillow front and back (The back is light pink satin and helps give an overall polished look). The finished product came out BEAUTIFUL and looks PROFESSIONAL (WHICH MADE MY DAUGHTER FEEL AMAZING)... I hope this review helps someone.

This was so fun to do! My 5 year old had a blast, and I got out a thin paint brush and used the hard end to help her push some through. In a little over an hour we had a sweet pillow she is now asleep and cuddling with. This was fun and I got to spend quality time with my girl on top of it. The only thing that could make this better is if the little scraps of fabric had been separated into little bags. I am purchasing another pillow, the owl, because it was so much fun and my daughter had a look of pride and accomplishment when we were done, and she looks so cute asleep and cuddling with it.

My daughter liked it. It was a cute little activity I put in her Easter basket. It didn’t take her very long to complete and she seemed to really like putting it together. It was a simple poke. They things stay in well if you don’t pull on them a lot. My only complaint is the eyes and mouth don’t stay on well and my daughter ended up losing them so the cat looks kinda weird now.

These plush craft toys are the best for hands on play. My daughter is 5 and finished hers in 2 different 1 hour sessions. She loved it. So much that I've ordered her a few more for Easter. You can't beat the price. The pillows are very soft. But if played with sometimes some of the fabric pieces will fall out. Too cute! Love all Plush Craft Toys. Beats kids staring at a tv or iPad.

Perfect for snuggling with while watching a movie!

I love to buy this product as a gift. Every child I have given it to loves to do this craft. I have no problem with the product. I do have an issue with how the product arrived. It arrived with the packing slip stuck right to the box. I can't remove the sticker without wrecking the box and since I give this as a gift - I'm not too happy about how it was shipped.

My daughter loved this and completed it in a couple of hours. End product looks great and she could complete it all independently without finding it too easy (she's nearly 6). Only criticism I could make is she bent the end of the tool very early on in making the cushion by pressing on too hard but I replaced with a wooden skewer which did the job

I bought it for a 6 year old girl who loves cats as a bday gift. It was a huge hit!! She finished it in a couple of hours and was so excited to have it in her bed for bedtime.

Bought this for my 4 year old and she loves it. It's great practice for number recognition and it's simple enough that she can do it with little to no supervision/help. She is thrilled with her pillow.

I bought this for my 7 year old niece. She was able to work this on her own and finished it in a couple of hours and was very pleased with her finished cushion. The fabric pieces that are pushed in the the cushion ar number coded dots on the cushion cover well and seem firmly attached. The technique is really simple but gives a very effective finish, she would like to do another
