Heavy?, Yes. Massive Clutches?, Yes. Multiple Adjustable Legs?, Yes. Pneumatic Extensions?, Yes. All Metal Construction?, Yes. Single-Type of Locking Attachment from Devise to Stand?, Yes. Plastic to Metal Threads that strip?, No. Nylon Clutch Parts that break under pressure?, No. Extension Rods that pinch your fingers when they slide down together?, No. Nylon Hinges on Support Legs the Crack & Break?, No. Extension Rods that rotate when you try and tighten them?, No. More Expensive that those Cheap Crappy Stands?, Yes. Will these Stands be functioning for years after the Cheap Crappy Stands?, Ask me again in 10 years when I'm still using these same pieces.

This is probably the best built line of Mic Stands in the world. If you have tipsy mic stands or overload them like I do, then the T3 or T2 is what you need. Triad-Orbit Rocks with their entire line... i bit over-priced IMHO but none-the-less the Best!

I have several of these. I like their weight and the way the feet adjust, however, both booms that I got for it are poorly designed and one of them broke while trying to tighten it enough to get it to stay put.

Probably one of the sturdiest, well made pieces of hardware I have ever purchased for my video work. You can feel the quality when you lift it.
