Divinityurns Exclusive Solid Rosewood Urn, Handcarved Wood Urn - Large Cremation Urn, Wooden Urn with Free Bag (Peaceful Dove)

It is a beautiful 'urn'. It is simple and yet classy. Perfect for our mom. Solidly built and the carvings are lovely. Not sloppy and messy but well made. The four, instead of five, stars is because my misunderstanding was that there would be a way to ensure that the sliding bottom could be fixed (e.g. with a screw). It is easy to slide out the bottom, so either the bottom has to be up (to ensure that ashes don't come out), or not moved. This urn will be used to take our mother back home, so we have taped the bottom. The ease of sliding the bottom is intended for scattering ashes, so it is good but some urns do have screws to lock the door closed.The package came from India via DHL. Tracking was great (blow by blow). It does require a signature but they delivered it to our neighbors since we were not home. That meant that we still got it without having to be home, which was greatly appreciated.

I purchased this in January when a loved one passed away. I judged it by the photo. It arrived fast. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. The box is of beautiful quality and looks so elegant. The etching of the tree of life is more beautiful than in the photo. It comes with a purple velvet bag to carry it in. It looks classy on the mantle and often people do not know what it is. It just looks like decor. If you happen to need one of these, I do recommend it.

I unfortunately I did not check the reviews. the Urn (box) looks great but I had to immediately tape the bottom right before the service , the bottom was bulging and coming apart when I went to lift it up so i had to try taping it last minute which did not work well . It was an emotional time and I it caught my eye because the urn is very nice looking but d could not believe that it was not secure after the ashes were placed inside. I never imagined I would have to screw it shut to keep this from happening . It was not a good experience to have on burial day !

I bought this urn for my son which is a very emotional process. I was happy to find something that I would enjoy seeing daily, however was not expected it to come damaged. The packaging did not support the weight of the urn being transported, no instruction to open and the screw that I found by noticing all the damage is rusty and stripped. I’m debating on wether it’s even worth trying to exchange at this point.

I would recommend it to others.It seems to be very hard to contact this seller , when all I would like todo is purchase the same bag that came free with my purchase of the urn witch is for me and I LOVE IT if it is possible PLEASE contact me with the price of that same bag and I will Very Much Appreciate itThank You.

We are scattering my Father's Ashes in Sequoia next week. I am so glad I checked with the airlines about bringing ashes on the plane. They said that they should be in a wooden/plastic container. My Dad's ashes were in a metal container that probably could not go thru TSA so we got a nice wooden box from this website. My Dad was thin but tall and the box fits his ashes fine. The boxes seems to be secure but something you can easily get into. Looks just like it's picture and it came in a timely manner.

Cannot get this open. 4 super tiny holes in bottom and no instructions on what type of tool to use. And unless the velvet bag is inside urn, there wasn’t one. 2 days before burial and I still don’t have it opened. Waste of money. Not recommending this purchase.

This is a beautifully carved rosewood box, The Tree of Life. We will soon have a memorial service at which my mother's ashes will be blessed. This wooden urn will be proudly displayed with Mother's earthly remains, until that time when we scatter them to the winds in some of her favorite places of her lifetime.
