If you're going to spend hundreds of dollars on a great scope you need to protect it with a great cover.

This scope cover was a very loose fit, even tho it's supposed to be the same length as my husband's scope--12". While it won't easily fall off, it's not tight enough to keep out dirt and moisture while hiking through the woods. It's a better fit for my 15" scope and it stretches enough to fit it and I'll use it on that scope. And as other's have commented, I'll have to add a tab at the eyepiece end to easily remove the cover and a string to attach it to my scope or gun so I won't loose it.

Pros: This cover is very thick and offers maximum protection. The materials' elasticity allows a lot of leeway to achieve a good fit.Cons: Would have liked this cover to come with a pull tab on the ocular end to help in taking it off the scope quickly and maybe a loop at the other end to hold it on the gun. Also, this cover will not fit properly if there is less than a 1/4" clearance between the scope and the rifle- the material is too thick.

Excellent product, wish it were a tad tighter. Scope is a Mark AR MOD 1 3-9x40mm which is 12.6" x 50.8mm and the Scopecoat is lose but won't come off.

An Absolute must have, does a fantastic job of protecting my scope. I now have them on all my rifles.
