RZJZGZ Dental Elastic Rubber Bands Placers for Braces Disposable Plastic Orthodontic Elastic Placers Multi-color (15PCS)

I got braces for the first time the day after Christmas and was told I had to put on a tiny rubber band from the inside of my upper back tooth to the outside of my lower tooth. As an adult, this is extremely challenging. These plastic placers make it so much easier. I wish my orthodontist would have mentioned this product was out there. Luckily I came across them on Amazon and placed my order. They shipped really quickly and before you know it, I was able to put the tiny rubber band on the placer and easily connect them around the hooks inside my mouth. The other end is helpful for taking the rubber bands off the hooks. I definitely plan on using these for all my rubber band needs on my braces.

My orthodontist had not recommended these to me, however I had to wear double bilateral triangle shapes 24/7. This helped me tremendously to place the bands appropriately as well as kept my finger out of the back of my mouth which was always nice.

These placers are a game changer. I use them to place elastic bands on my son's braces and they make this process so much easier and quicker. I no longer have to stick my hand in my son's mouth to try to find the hooks. Instead the placer serves as an extension of my hand, which is much more comfortable for both my son and myself. Once I'm done using the placer, I rinse it in water and put it away until next time. I've been using the same placer for almost 3 weeks now and it's in perfect condition. So a pack of 15 should last a long while. I only wish my son would learn to use them on his own.

Why my orthodontist instructed me to begin wearing bands without introducing me to this tool I will never know. This should be standard care. Who has time to reach into the back of their mouth to attach an itty bitty rubberband to an itty bitty hook. Not me! I found these and never looked back.

My orthodontist gave me one and actually said he didn't think I'd need it. Boy was he wrong. Small mouth and bad lighting makes it impossible to triangulate a tiny elastic. Yup, triangulate.I have multiple pairs of reading glasses because they all have their place. Same with these. Home, office, handbag. This is exactly like what the orthodontist gave me and the pack of 15 should be all I need. Satisfied.

Bought these to help put the bands on my son's braces. He is young with a small mouth, which may be why these didn't work so great. We found it extremely hard to get the plastic hook off the band once it was placed on the brace.Ended up buying a cheap pair of Mathis pliers.The tool themselves were decent quality, we tried to use the same one several times and it didn't break, so not sure about the quality issues others mentioned.
