Lives Up To The Hype, Glad This Is My First Beard Straightener
In my few years of beard grooming, I had never considered getting a beard straightener. Didn’t like the idea of using heat or even a blow dryer, even if it was just for flyaways or nitpick areas in my beard. I decided to take a small plunge and try it out since it might take my beard from 9/10 to 10/10 like some other beard dudes I’ve noticed using it or having a near identical look through other means. I really didn’t know which one to get since there’s many out here, but I trusted the reviews, the specs, and etc and this fit what I was looking for and is the final product I needed in my arsenal. At the moment of writing this, I don’t feel like I’ll end up buying another straightener, it is as good as any I have heard of and I’ve seen some expensive ones that are practically the same, so this price range is also a great thing about it. 5/5 1st time beard straightener.I have a 2 inch beard I’m going to grow out long again and I feel like on the lowest setting, with a hint of 2nd setting, it gets the job done. I throw in some beard oil after the straightening (of a dry beard) and any remaining hairs that don’t wanna cooperate fall better in line. I feel like it doesn’t make my beard unnaturally straight and it is helping a lot with the awkward hair stages certain hairs are going through. I don’t think it does any damage to my beard, but of course these kind of things may have to do with my method and the precaution I take. Also worth noting that it does not burn me at all or hurt my skin, no tangles either, I can relax while I glide it slowly. My tip is to make sure the beard is dry, or less than damp, do the thing, then slap in whatever product you want. I will probably go into the routine of doing it 1-2 times a week, skipping a day or two, I think is best for the beard’s health and the fact that if you don’t always wash up, it still holds up the next day when you wake up, comb, and brush, but everyone’s beard is different and I co-wash almost a few times a week, shower/shampoo wash once a week.

From a cow-licked Irish mess to a straight, gorgeous ginger mane.
This beard straightener is small, and lightweight, but has worked great for my beardly needs. It comes in a very sturdy box that I keep it in whenever I am not using it, with a picture of a bearded beefcake that helps encourage me as I straighten by own face fur. It seems to heat up pretty quickly, which comes in handy for the mornings I plug it in but forget to press the power button, and then realize my error later. I've found that for my current beard length the medium heat setting is best. The lowest setting doesn't seem to make a difference, and the highest setting sounds, smells, and feels like it's about to scorch my face. I've found that for best results it's good to put some kind of product on your beard before straightening it. I usually apply leave-in conditioner, then straighten it, then apply beard oil afterwards. It definitely makes a visible difference right away, and takes my beard from a cow-licked Irish mess to a straight, gorgeous ginger mane that would make Mufasa blush.

Great Straightener
My only gripe is not actually about the product itself, but is in my own inability to understand at what point I should start using this and how to groom/barber my own beard. I have started to grow my beard out and know that eventually I will need a straightener just like this one. With the length that I do have on my beard I have tested this product and it works phenomenally! In very little time my messy beard was perfectly straight. I am going to absolutely love this product as my beard gets longer. Now I just need to get into a barber to shape my face so I can start to use it. : )

Works OK, but just OK.
My beard looks thick, but I guess the hair is actually kind of fine, and there is a lot of it. That said, it’s very easy to burn the skin using this iron, and in order to get it straight, I have to hold the iron all the way to my skin, which simply flattens the hair to my face and leaves the long ends Curly. I think that this would be great for someone who has a really thick beard, with thick beard hair. If you have a nice beard, but the hair is on the fine side, it might not be great for you.

Love it!
I have a long, kinky, and stiff beard. It is very difficult to do anything with but this straightener deals with all my problems with one tool. It straightens and softens my beard making it much more manageable. Did I mention it is a great value for the money?

Easy and it works
The beard straightener is easy to use right out of the box. I originally purchased it for my husband to use on his beard, but I tried it on my hair and loved it! It takes a few minutes to heat up depending on the setting. For him: brush slowly in a downward motion to tame the beard curlFor her: great for fine hairs and hair that a straightener can’t get.The device didn’t damage our hair and was fun to use.Update: I decided to try the brush on my long hair. My hair was soft and shiny after using the brush.

Not as easy as it seems.
Got this for my husband who grows an awesome beard but would like it it be straighter. You would think that you just brush your beard with this hot brush and it would straighten the hair. Doesn’t seem to work so far needs to put more tension on the hair.
