not Absorbing. It’s a single plush synthetic colorful wrap. My 8 year old kid loves it. Pros: belt is connected. The label (tag) is on the outside and not touching the skin. True to size. Vibrant color (orange, just as the picture when ordered). Hooded. Nice to have pockets. And a cotton stitch for the neck line on the inside. Cons: Just don’t expect it to substitute for a towel- it will not do. Washing instructions: hand wash (no way I’m doing it)

I normally don't write negative comments and give people the benefit of the doubt. However I gave this one a 2 simply because after reading comments for this product used without washing it (apparently if you wash it.... umm.... it looses the shape and material.... OKAY, if you are giving this to a child you expect it to get dirty and therefore needs washing.... go figure). Anyway, just in about 2 uses (I get my grandson over the weekends only) the material started disintegrating in the back and I now have multiple holes in it..... Wow.)They shouldn't rip people off selling this crap. I can't even ask for a refund.Wasted my money......:-(Had to throw it out as it kept breaking apart. What a shame as I liked the material and color. RIP OFF......

I ordered this robe for my son. When it arrived the tag was on the outside of the robe, making it defective. I tried to return, but the shipping was $23, so not even worth it to return. Now I’m stuck with a crappy item.

My 7 year old son likes it. He wears it often. I don't like the material. It's a velour. It looks odd and the arms are short for the size. The material on shorter robes tend to be thinner than this.

Present for 5 year old boy. Fits well and super soft. Not sure if it will wash well but time will tell.

I bought these for my 3 and 4 year old sons. They both arrived on time and they are adorable. They are super soft and fluffy! After several washes, they are still as soft and fluffy as ever. I only mention this in case anyone has kiddos with sensory issues or difficulties. My 3 year old son HATES putting his robe on straight out of the tub. He will cry and refuse to wear it. He absolutely cannot stand the way the fluffy robe feels against his wet skin. He doesn't really have any sensory issues but It made me think of the kiddos who do. That being said, He loves wrapping up in it over his pajamas to wear around the house for an extra layer of warmth.

I haven't given it to my nephew yet but it looks and feels nice and there wasn't any problems with fuzz coming off, even after a wash and dry...I think he's gonna like it
