The world's thinnest and shortest diabetic lancets Make painful blood glucose testing a thing of the past! Utilizing a patent-pending design breakthrough, Tiniboy lancets are by far the smallest lancets available for painfree blood glucose testing. Using a 36 gauge needle, Tiniboy lancets are less than 1/3 the length and diameter of other lancets, while maintaining durability and reliability of blood draw. The end result is a less intimidating and virtually painless lancet, ideal for diabetic adults and kids alike! Tiniboy lancets are compatible with most lancing devices, including: - Soft Touch and Soft Touch II - BD Lancing Device - OneTouch UltraSoft - FreeStyle - Microlet and Microlet 2 - Vaculance - auto-Lancet - Penlet Plus and Penlet II

Really great...when they have a needle...
These were great at first! I was shocked by the fact that they drew blood with such a small and literally painless needle! That said, in our box of 100 about 10 didn't have a needle at all. The needles can be very hard to see because they are so small but holding your hand behind the lancet makes it visible so I'm sure the needles were missing. We used these with our genteel lancing device and there was actually no pain. That said, we change the lancet each and every time we test so a 100 count box is only about a 10 day supply. That's 30 lancets a month that don't have needles (based on how many didn't in our box. That adds up over time. Also, because the needle is so small the "caps" don't like to stay on. I threw away 6-8 lancets because the cap had fallen off of them. Seems like there must be a better way to cap the needles and keep them clean. I'll try these again in the future in hopes that improvements will be made but for now, too much waste.

The Best
I HATE sticking my finger. HATE it! LOATHE it! DESPISE it! These tiny lancets make the whole process so much easier. They are virtually painless and they produce just enough blood to do a test. Where have they been all these years? I highly recommend them. You might have to buy a different lancet holder because they don't fit in all of the brands. They are tiny and infinitely smaller than most, so it is worth buying a different lancet holder and (please don't have a heart attack here) even paying for these lancets yourself if your insurance doesn't cover them - mine doesn't.

In Control at Last!
No pain!! I honestly have no pain in my fingertips when using Tiniboy lancets. After recently going from prediabetic to full-fledged Type 2, I knew I had to get serious about checking my blood sugar at home. I had previously refused to test very often because regular lancets were so painful and left my fingertips tender and bruised. I began using Tiniboy and they have been life-changing. (And I do not use the term "life-changing" lightly.) Regular testing with Tiniboy lancets has enabled me to gain a measure of blood sugar control that I've never achieved before. Even when I test up to five times per day there is no pain and no bruising and I'm finally learning exactly how certain foods and activities affect my readings. I've had good success in getting an adequate blood sample because I'm careful about how I prepare, making sure my fingers are well warmed, either by washing in warm water or by rubbing my hands together briskly. Because I'm right handed I usually test on my left hand, using my left thumb to press down on the pad of the finger to be tested. This causes the sides of the fingertip to bulge out slightly and then I use the lancet there on the side. (There are fewer nerve endings on the sides of the fingertips than the on the pads so testing on a side is less painful.) I use a decent amount of pressure on my lancing device to make sure I get a deep enough stick and then---voila!---that lovely little red drop appears. On rare occasions I do have to stick twice but because of Tiniboy's size, sticking twice doesn't produce tears of pain and frustration. I wish I could give its inventor a big hug!

I truly LOVE these little lancets
I'm not one for writing a lot of reviews. However, I truly LOVE these little lancets. If you are like me and have super sensitive skin, you will find these lancets are pretty much pain free. They work well on both fingers or for alternative testing sites. I will say they didn't work as well with the lancet devices I had that came standard with my testing kits because they didn't always pierce the skin reliably at the lower settings. The fault was with the device, not the lancets. I switched to the Care Touch Adjustable Lancing Device and cannot believe the difference in how well they work together. (The button is stiffer on the device than you might be used to but that's because the spring actually works well.) Please, do yourself or your loved one a favor, and invest in the better quality lancet device and these lancets. Care Touch Adjustable Lancing Device, 10 Adjustable Depths

Must try. Especially for new diabetics.
As a gestational diabetic I'm new to checking my blood sugar. These lancets helped to get over the fear I associated with the finger pricking. They are amazing! There is a learning curve in using them. Mostly how gentle to remove the twist top to avoid tweaking the needle. Also adjusting the lancing device based on what finger I'm using and location of stick. So I get enough blood without needing to restick or going too deep. Doing this I've been able to get good sticks with the lowest device setting possible. I literally just feel a thump on my finger. No pain or prick. I'm so grateful for such a gentle and efficient product.

This product works very well!
Works very well with my Genteel lancing device. I used this when I had gestational diabetes. I’m scared of needles and happy to find this product because the needles are extremely small compared to other brands. It still works as advertised and I still get enough blood for my glucometer. Great product!

You can barely feel them!
I loved that you could barely feel these. I'm an adult that uses them because I get really sensitive after using the regular size. You could barely feel these! I will say that my husband couldn't use them due to calluses on his fingers, but they were fine for me.

Ouch
This lancet is super short and fine, but it hurts more than a bigger lancet. My husband had trouble getting blood with these. I have no idea why, but will not purchase again. I am not diabetic, I just check blood sugar monthly as part of health routine.
