6-PACK Kitty Kaviar (1.5 oz)

I have a Birman and Ragdoll cat who love Kitty Kaviar! I usually double order this in the 6 pack. They receive a pinch a day and I refrigerate it after opening. It possesses a strong fishlike aroma, which entices all felines. It is made from 100 dried Bonito filets, carved paper thin, and has no additives, preservatives, or byproducts. I think my cats think they've died and gone to Kitty Heaven receiving this yummy treat!! Both know the sound of removing the lid to this product and come running with a strong meow!

---The blue cans purchased in 2013 were great. The black bags purchased in 10/2016 have MOLD---My cats loved the Kitty Kaviar in the blue cans. This appears to be the same brand repackaged into a black bag, but the product is NOT the same. These fish pieces are large and thick like wood bark (not flaky and wispy thin). The smell is different too, like a weird woodsy mint (not fishy). Upon closer examination, I discovered that the entire 4oz package of cat treats is covered in black mold or touching it -- see bottom half of photo. Very disappointed, and upset that I had taken a few whiffs of mold trying to figure out why my cat was snubbing it.

Ever since I discovered this product at a small, independent pet store on the Upper West Side in New York City some years ago, my cats have been wild for it. Of course, the ones who enjoyed it then have long since passed on, but my current five are ecstatic whenever they see me take out the big round container. When I first found it in that pet store (an open container was sitting on a counter), I bought some for a dear friend who lives about 2-3 blocks from the store. When I sent in my six-pack order last month, I knew that I'd have to send me friend one of those packs. Her orange tabby cat is gone now, too, but her new kitten, whom she adopted even though - or perhaps because - he has only one eye, loves Kitty Kaviar as much as all of mine do. Great product. And, I even received an extra container with a similar product, free of charge (and a surprise to me).

My cat Domino, HAS to have his Kitty Kaviar EVERY DAY and not only every day but several times a day. It only makes sense for me to buy the larger size of Kitty Kaviar and the 6 pack of 6 oz. is the best way to buy for Domino. You will get the best price from Amazon for the best Kitty Kaviar on the market. You can buy cheaper Kitty Kaviar but it is not as good a product as this one is and at this price, you can't do better any place. Amazon is the only place I will order this product from and in fact, I love to order many, many other items from Amazon too and always get the best product at the best price and fast delivery. Domino is happy and that makes me happy!

My cats would eat the whole can if I left this out. They LOVE it and they are very picky! We've taught them several tricks using this as a reward. We also give it as a treat at bedtime and they'll come from anywhere when I call them for "snacky". It gives us a chance to check that all cats are inside for the night. We used to get at the pet store, but this six-pack is so much more economical.

My 16 yo cat has been on hospice for over a year and a half, and I credit the Kitty Kaviar as a huge part of his doing so well. No matter how bad his appetite is he will always eat this, even waits for it! Both my cats love this stuff.

I have a 6 yr. old cat who is a finicky eater. She loves this treat so I mix it into cat food she might otherwise reject and she ends up eating her entire meal. I know he is getting a healthy, nutritious snack and overcomming her finicky habbit.Cats are hard to train but by using this as a reward method for proper behavior she is learning some cute tricks. The six pack is an great way of treating her and my wallet also.

Excellent product. I purchased the 2 pack & my cats liked it so much I went ahead & purchased the 6 pack. Kitty kaviar is dried bonita flakes and is used for a treat or a topping for regular meals. (Not a meal replacement) Highly recommended for cats and especially picky eaters.
