Its taste is Amazing!!! And I just squeezed on finger and then licked it off!!! DELICIOUS!!! Yes it’s not cheap but it comes with a bag of freezer material and now some of it is still in fridge… Had to buy good crackers… Thanks!!!

I sit here staring at three tubes of Kalles Kaviar, wondering if this is some sort of joke about the transient nature of seafood products. If this review were merely about the kaviar itself, I'd be writing a five-star love letter about how it transforms humble crispbread into a transcendent experience. But it's not. It's about Amazon's apparent belief that fish roe shares the same temperature requirements as a paperback novel.I imagine the bacteria having a party in there. Salmonella is probably the DJ, while E. coli works the door and Clostridium botulinum makes questionable cocktails that nobody asked for. They're all living their best lives in the "danger zone" (40°F-140°F), which sounds less like a food safety metric and more like the temperature range where my life choices come into question.You see, I want to love this kaviar. I want to spread it on crispbread and pretend I'm having I'm having breakfast at my mom's köksbord. Instead, I'm left contemplating how many hours per food poisoning incident I'm willing to risk. The answer, surprisingly, isn't "many." Not even "demoralisingly many."Why do we look down on people who wear their desire for properly refrigerated seafood products on their sleeve? It's a mystery to me. When I was younger, I might have been adventurous enough to try room-temperature fish eggs, but therapy has taught me that setting boundaries with potentially toxic relationships includes those with improperly shipped perishables.In my minds I hear my therapist say, sometimes the simplest solution is an ice pack. Just one ice pack.But I'm no longer young, and ChatGPT's essay about heat-stable toxins made me realize some forms of bravery are just poorly disguised self-destruction.Five stars for the product itself, minus four stars for the microscopic horror show potentially brewing within, minus an additional star for making me confront my mortality through the medium of unrefrigerated seafood. Absolutely delicious Kalles Kaviar, a typical Swedish treat for your open faced sandwich! My American husband is not sold on it, but it's my fave on crisp bread with some slices of hard boiled egg on top! Arrived very fresh and perfect! Highly recommended seller, A+++++++++++

One tube ( I just discovered was punctured). Leakage. Need to have it replaced.

One Item had a broken seal and was damaged and leaking. Product was unfit for consumption due to it being exposed to air and smelling rancid.

This is my second order, because I love this stuff. I used to buy it at Ikea, but they no longer have it. My first order was awesome. My second order, at least one if not two of the tubes leaked and they were a sticky mess. The third tube seems OK, which was good for my mom's birthday party. Amazon gave me a refund, so I'm happy and I'll order again, but I hope this doesn't happen again. The tubes did not seem damaged so I don't think it was an Amazon problem.

I order this all the time from different vendors, but from now on I'm sticking with this one. They went above and beyond packing this to ensure it stays nice and cool and stable.
