Many of the parts are metal plated plastic but none of them felt flimsy. Installation took minutes using the included plumber's tape and no part of it has leaked. The head is large and the mount puts it up high so it's like a rain shower. The hose feels solid and is just the right length for use in a 5' wide shower. I concur with the other reviews - don't over tighten the plastic parts. I needed a wrench to remove the original shower head but was able to assemble and install the Ana Bath MSS50 without tools. Been using it for several weeks now and not a drop leaking. As for water flow, it is slightly less than the fixed shower head it replaced but the spray pattern is wider so I don't miss the old one. Recommended.Update August 2015: The metal sheathing on the hose became detached from the spray wand end and slid down exposing the rubber hose. The hose alone isn't meant to stand up to water pressure and ruptured. I contacted Ana Bath and they promptly sent a replacement hose. A good product and great customer service like that are unfortunately rare these days. I like this product and company so much I am going to buy another for the guest bathroom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great Handheld Shower System *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2014* I've been using this Ana Bath handheld shower system for some time now, and I am pleased with it.. It has plenty of water pressure and the five spray settings are great as well. It looks and feels sturdy and the quality and brushed nickel look are fantastic. The price is reasonable, and its high quality design is comparable to some of the high end brands at half the price. Installation was also fairly easy.The handheld shower can be rotated up, down, left or right in order to adjust the angle of the stream. It did leak at first around the mounting bracket pivot bearing when I was adjusting the angle of the stream. I tightened the nut around the mounting bracket and that seemed to take care it. I guess only time will tell.Like I previously mentioned it has quite a bit of water pressure. (Just be sure to remove the water flow restrictors when installing.) In fact it has so much water pressure and volume that I had to install a heavy duty shower curtain because my previous one kept being sucked into the shower stall. Although it has five spray settings to choose from, it's actually three distinct settings with the other two being a combination of them. The setting selector switch also has a distinct click to it when going through the various settings. The massage stream setting could be a little better and have more distinct pulses but it's not bad either.If you buy this handheld shower system, you won't regret it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Best high pressure handheld shower head *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2021* This shower head has amazing pressure (after removing the flow restriction piece). The first one we bought lasted us 7 years before we dropped it one too many times and cracked it. We replaced it with the option that has the longer cord. Through the 7 years of using this shower head we didn't have any leaks and the modes (which it says there are 5, but really there are 3 distinct and then the other 2 are a combination of the other 3) really do work well. I also use this shower head to wash our hampers and trash cans and the high pressure directed stream works amazing for that. The shower head is easy to install and comes with plumbers tape if you need it.
