Decorative Bake Ware Gives Food Added Eye Appeal
I like the depth and width of these pans—they’re perfect for many casserole-style recipes. Of the three, I use the two smallest ones the most for regular family fare, but the largest one is ideal for serving groups of six or more. I have a wire rack that fits the bottom of the largest pan nicely, so it’s also ideal for roasting meats as well. The deep sides are especially nice—Italian dishes can get messy, but they’re contained very well in these, as can be seen in my lasagna photo. I made it in the middle-sized pan, and it readily feeds a family of four. The largest pan has 3” sides; the other two have 2” and 2 ½” sides. The only fault I can find with these are lack of labeling. Most quality bake ware clearly states on their bottoms where they can be safely used. The only place I can find that information is here on the product page. The bottoms of these pans simply say Kingsbull Home. The set is pretty enough to be given as a gift, but recipients will never know they’re oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe unless you tell them. Just because a pan is ceramic doesn’t automatically mean it possesses all those qualities—some kind of marking on the bottom is always appreciated.I use these versatile pans on an almost-daily basis. Having three different sizes accommodates a wide variety of foods. This decorative bake ware makes everything look more eye-appealing--even my tuna fish casserole looks fancy.

Okay, but Very Heavy
These three casserole dishes pass with a push. The gray background glaze and repeating stenciled pattern are nice looking. The small dish has a 2 ½ cup capacity; the medium dish, 1 ½ quarts; the large dish, 3 quarts. They are all more than two inches deep and rectangular, with steeply sloping sides. This results in the small dish having the appearance of a small loaf pan. The angled sides of the other pans do not appeal to me either. I prefer casseroles with straight sides, especially for recipes involving layered ingredients. The dishes are of only fair quality. The medium sized dish I received is slightly defective. Each of the dishes has a short ridge in the middle of its bottom. In my medium dish, the ridge is slightly higher than the edge along the perimeter of the dish bottom, resulting in it rocking slightly on a flat surface.Items that I baked in the oven or reheated in the microwave came out well in these dishes, and they washed well, including in the dishwasher on normal cycle. My main complaint about this cookware is its heaviness. The small dish weighs 1 ½ pounds; the medium dish, 3 ¼ pounds; the large dish, a whopping 5 ¾ pounds. In comparison, a pyroceram dish that I own with the same capacity as the medium dish weighs only 2 ¼ pounds, nearly one third less. I shudder to think of how heavy the large dish, which the descriptive copy calls a lasagna dish, would weigh loaded with lasagna ingredients. I doubt these dishes will get much use in my kitchen.

Lovely Dishes
After years of using a clear glass 13 x 9" dish, It was so nice to get this set. They are lovely. From the sizes I thought the smallest dish would make a great bread pan. However it is too small for a regular loaf of bread, but would be fine for a smaller one or some quick bread. It would make a lovely gift of food to a person who is having trouble doing their own cooking and baking. A nice loaf of bread or even a small coffee cake still in the dish and covered with plastic wrap and a white ribbon and bow. Obviously you can keep them for yourself to use as well as I will do. I look forward to using them. My cleaning lady also admired them and thought they would be very useful, and lets just say she knows how to cook!I have been so busy with our online store, I wasn't sure when I would get the opportunity to actually use them for awhile, especially as I just broke my little toe and it is hard to even move my foot much less cook anything in the kitchen. Before the Virus hit, I had found some great cookbooks at a local thrift store and am looking forward to trying some of them out in these dishes. I'm thinking a chicken with green chili peppers, cheese and tortillas casserole. Yum! And perhaps some scalloped pineapple in the medium sized dish. Now to be able to walk a bit better and have some time to cook!Thank you for letting me try these out. They were wonderfully packed with no damage. I do appreciate getting them.
