Not quite what I was expecting
It is legit Tenara. That is the good news. If you sought out Tenara you know why you were looking for it so no need o comment on quality.The bad news is you only receive 1050 meters of thread, around 1148 yards.If you are searching for the least expensive Tenara, this ain't it. There is one vendor, easily googleable who sells 1595 yards for $137 + $20 for shipping. You can do the math.The photo shows the label for this roll. Data the vendor conveniently did not provide in product description.

Very heavy gage but will never break
This gage was actually too heavy for what I was going to use it on, but worked well anyway. The sunbrella will be gone before this thread gives up.

Clear is the new White or Just plain old Bright White.
The manufacturer should not call this clear. They should call this clearly white. It's not even close to clear. It's white, very white. The thread looks as white as it does on the spool in the picture. Maybe whiter. It doesn't get better when you use it. It's just plain white, or Ultra Bright White would be a better color description. The bottom of the description states, not translucent and not transparent. What that apparently means is no hide-ability whatsoever, because it's WHITE. I'd add a picture but, everyone knows the difference between Clear and WHITE.Buy the color you need and forget about clear if you want this stuff. Tenara should be ashamed to call it clear. What I call it is an expensive mistake.Disclaimer should read: It's not clear, it's white and if you don't believe me, buy one, open the package and now it's your very expensive clearly white thread.
