Best bare root roses I have ever purchased

I was replacing a heritage rose bush for my parents (the original died in a rough winter), and this Tropicana was exactly the right color when it bloomed. The bare root plant went in the ground easily, started new growth within a few weeks, bloomed on time and is nearly caught up to the other established rose bushes in their garden. We highly recommend Spring Hill -- for roses, yes, but we've never been disappointed when we see their name on a start or plant.

Soaked roots over night. Planted in half whiskey barrel, miracle grow, and watered. Leaves are coming in nice. Follow all instructions on trimming.

I've been planting roses for many, many years and pride myself in my success. This is the only bare root rose bush ever for me that has sprouted on only one stalk and took over a month and a half to sprout some leaves. I had given up on it growing. It has been disappointing.

Dead when it arrived. I've worked with bare root plants before and this was by far the worst one I have ever seen. Would not recommend this product.

Plant seems healthy. Unfortunately it is the wrong color.

The plants that arrived were very large, there were multiple thick stems (1/2"), and were spread out 8-10" spread. The resulting roses have been very fragrant.
