His new dream
In this, the second part of the two-part story beginning with What's Mine is Yours, Sean's focus returns to his wife Katie, from whom he is still separated. His experience with his friend Henry, and wife Michelle, has resulted in his thinking about Katie in a new way. He has begun to dream of a reconciliation in which Katie, like Michelle, might experience sexual freedom, with his encouragement and blessing. Little does he know that Katie has a secret which may prove to have some bearing on this dream. One of the things I like about this author is that the wives are often strong characters, and often work in traditionally male-dominated professions. In one, she is a high-powered tax accountant. In another, a professor of Mathematical Logic. And here, our Katie is a surgeon. As another aside, most of this story takes place in London, the author's home. So this time, his frequent use of British constructions and vocabulary is entirely appropriate.I adore this story and have re-read it several times. But the first time I read it, I was upset by the way things seemed to be going at the wedding of Katie's sister, which Sean attends hoping to somehow reconnect with his wife. I couldn't sleep. Had to keep reading, hoping the tide would somehow turn. At one point, Sean must endure being in close proximity to goings on which do not seem to be headed toward reconnection at all. But at the same time, he sees in his own reaction to this, a germ of proof that his dream is genuine.Back in London, Sean having discovered his wife's secret, Katie receives a visit from a rather significant couple. And shortly after that comes the part of this entire story that everything has been building toward. Katie has some questions to ask Sean, and they finally talk. I'm not really sure what to make of the fact that what is, for me, the absolute climax of the story, is not a sex scene at all (and for the record, this story includes some amazing ones). It makes me suspect that as good as he is in this genre, Max Sebastian might excel in others as well. Finally, once again, we end with one of Sebastian's trademark codas. Katie's last few words hit us (and Sean, no doubt) with a jolt, and get the imagination running.

The Two Book Titles Refer to Two Perspectives on Relationships in a Great Two Part Story
Max Sebastian writes some great erotic stories, but this rather special story is a two book adventure about two couples as they both discover enlightenment and enrichment in their respective relationships. Many erotic books have been written about what can go wrong when couples push the limits of their marriage relationship, but this two part story is ultimately about what can go right when the adventure is conducted with careful communication and sensitivity. The story is in two parts because there are two perspectives, one focused in the first book, What's Mine is Yours, features a husband's experience when he begins to share his wife with a trusted friend, and the second book, What's Yours is Mine, presents a couple as they learn that the wife's liberation experience is really an equally powerful experience for both of them. The plot makes for great drama and tension as seemingly impossible problems arise, and as the couples gradually discover how they can make progress toward stronger relationships. Max includes his patented style that makes erotic scenes amazingly. The characters are unique and different and become more likeable as we get to know them better. So, read both books, in order, and have fun learning all the insights that the story has in store. You might not even notice everything that you are learning along the way, but don't overlook the big message, that improved relationships are about three things, communication, communication, and honesty. Good reading.

Having Now Read Both
I agree to some degree with those who felt the first book "What's Mine Is Yours" was a little long on dialog, however, as I hoped, Max ties it all together with this book. The characters are likable Katie, Sean, Henry and Michelle especially when Henry & Michelle take things into their own hands by visiting Katie and break the ice for Sean regarding their "lifestyle". This was very cleverly written and jump started the book from that point forward with Katie obviously interested, but requiring a lot of answers from Sean before she took the big step - sex with someone other than Sean her husband. The sex is hot and well described, but when added with the first book, not as much as I've come to expect from Max Sebastian. One final note: it seems silly to me to continue to use the word "date" when in fact what is really happening here is the "Hotwife" just "hooking up" for the sole purpose of having sex. That is having sex with someone she may or may not ever see again. I enjoyed both books, but my rating is a 4, since the books were light on sex.

A very well crafted, erotic story
Max really takes his time with his stories, building an intriguing plot, writing interesting and believable characters. I felt I really got to know the main character and I had empathy with him. I like him. That being said, I wanted to slap him a few times at the odd things he said, and didn't say. But I guess he's like all human, fallible. If you like other Max Sebastian stories, you will love this one. It's got all the color and all the extremely well-written sex scenes I've come to expect. I recommend this book, but you really should read "What's Mine is Yours" first.

Now the real story takes off.
I had bought the first in series and gave it a one star review as I found the book slow in the extreme. After the really good opening, which involved the initial breakup of the marriage of Sean and Kate, I was dismayed to discover that the book more or less laid that business aside and went on to deal with Sean's colleague Henry's desire to set up his wife Michelle as a hotwife and to get things rolling along those lines with Sean. I read that the sequel would deal with Kate and Sean's relationship and took a chance on buying it as I did think that the potential was there for a good story with these two if it carried on from where the great start of the first book left them. I wasn't disappointed. It was great. In my opinion there should only have been one book where Henry and Michelle's undoubted influence on Sean could have been written without all the preamble that was present in the first book and the main focus on what Sean and Kate did afterward could have been told. Sure it would have been a longer book and would have to have cost a bit more but would have given the reader a better read and greater value. I think then it would have been a sure fire five star rating. I know others liked the first book but hey it's only my opinion.

Another enjoyable book
After having his eyes opened to alterative ways a marriage can work by his best friend Henry and his vivacious wife Michelle, Sean sets about trying to restore his marriage to his beautiful and talented surgeon wife Katie. But before he can do that he has more lessons to learn about the alternatives and his own feelings and attitudes. The wedding of Katie’s sister where Sean is due to be an usher provide the opportunity for them to meet again but, there is tension between the pair that does not get resolved, although the wedding does provide Sean with another voyeuristic delight, which further strengthens his belief that they could actually work out their differences.A somewhat farcical episode where Henry and Sean follow Katie to a self help group leads Sean to discover more about his estranged wife, armed with the new information he increases his efforts to win her back? This was another enjoyable book from the pen of talented author Max Sebastian and follows on nicely from the first book. As usual Max Sebastian creates interesting and likeable characters which along with various events intermingle with each other to produce a believable and compelling story. The bond between Sean and Henry is central the story and works very well, reading the two books, I felt I would really like a friend like Henry. The sex scenes were good, but I would have liked a few more and for them to last a little longer. Strangely for someone who tends to specialise in the wife sharing genre I do not think sex scenes are Max Sebastian’s strongest suit, I feel he is far happier constructing plots and developing scenarios.

Good, with a few exceptions.
As usual this book by Max Sebestian is well written. It has a slow start, and a few hot scenes,it was a little spoilt for me as their is to much lingering on the anguish felt by the husband. Then when he finally and secretely discovers Kate's motivations in book one and the start to this book, when he reconciles with her rather than form any sort of compromise he basically tells her she can have sex with any one she fancies, including Grant (who he really dislikes now). Really did not like that part, so I knocked off 2 stars.

Very good
It’s quite slow paced and the characters and dialogue are believable. For me that is important and massively adds to the eroticism when they start to follow their fantasises.I found this an excellent read and I really enjoyed it. I don’t often give 5* - but this is well deserved

Brilliant
I've never read a hot wife sequel that was any good and was sure I'd be disappointed but how wrong could I be, I think it's better than the first. It does start very slowly but as another reviewer proclaimed " he couldn't put it down".This is one of the best and certainly the best sequel about wife sharing that I have read, the sex is not over the top and the story like exciting.
