Kitchonics Heat Resistant Silicone BBQ Gloves, Blue

These work great. I like that you can't feel heat OR hot steam and liquids - at least not to the point of burning you. I only had one problem. I tried to use them to pick up a glass jar of coconut oil that I had melted in a sauce pan of hot water. Evidenlty, there was some oil residue on the outside and/or around the lip of the jar. It was SUPER SLIPPERY!! I could not pick up the jar with these gloves. So, I would say be cautious if you are handling anything hot and oily. The silcone glove can't grip it even with the nodules on the glove. Otherwise, these have replaced my fabric pot holders which I think are not very hygenic and hard to get clean.

Gave several as gifts. People liked them but they are a little bit heavier than I expected.

It does get hot. It's not 100% heat proof

We have had a multi-fuel burning stove for over 25 years, and didn't know you could get these! My days of using rags or getting burnt fingers are done!
