Thunderhead Shemagh Tactical Military Desert Scarf Head Wrap

This is really excellent quality material - especially for the price. I did wash it in cold water and dried it in a cool drier and was surprised at how much it shrank. It's exceptionally warm in the winter, but by the time it was washed the first time, it's much harder to get it around the face and the neck due to the loss of size. The washing was fine, but I would definitely hang to dry and not try to even do the dryer at all with this product. A bit disappointed by that, but otherwise, again, the fabric was heavy and seemed well-woven.

I just received my Navy and White Shemagh in three days time. I washed it in cold water with shampoo so it's smells good. The Navy color did run a little bit but the Navy blue is still really noticeable. I'm not a hipster so I will only wear mine in the desert or fishing. The thickness is perfect breathable material on a hot day. The size is a little smaller than normal but still able to wear it anyway I like. The stitching is great for mine had no holes or frays. Exactly what I was looking for. I will order more from these guys.

A beautiful item till you wash it. It was very light and confortable to wear but there was a slight smell to it so I decided to hand wash it with a few drops of laundry detergent. The water ran a puple blue out of it like crazy and shaded the white parts blueish. Im glad I did that before ending up with a blue neck when sweating and wearing it. Aside from that it serves the purpose.

A little thin, and definitely not made in Palestine or anything like that...but it's definitely not cheaply made by any stretch of the imagination. Lies very nicely on my neck and holds it's shape. It's not like those $5 ones you see in the mall that are like trying to wrap wet pasta around your neck. Definitely will come back if I need any other colors.

I like the fact that this is actually embroidered rather than screen printed. Nice touch. Not that you need a fancy one for what plan on using it for but it's comforting to know that some effort went into the product I paid for. The green is a bit more pronounced than an olive drab but it works. A brown one might be more suited to blend with multicam than the one I bought however.

Keep in mind that these things come in different fabric weights, from heavy to gauze like. It would be nice if they stated the density but this one is medium. I use these a lot for a million different things, but mostly as shade and head cover so the density is important. Fast delivery and a fair price.

This is a decent scarf, not too heavy, but not too light. A good weave strength for the price, but initially, the dye will bleed, and over time, the brown will fade to a tanner shade.Still a good scarf. Very comfortable.

I first fell for these scarves, after watching one of the Transformer movies ;) This scarf is great for climates/regions that aren't very cold, like Los Angeles/ San Francisco. It does keep your neck warm and the quality is decent.
