GESTALT Platinum Finish Solid Cobalt Chrome Ring. 6mm Width. Comfort Fit.

I used to have a platinum ring till I lost it kayaking. Then I had a gold ring which I lost at the beach. No more precious metals for me. I bought this ring in part because it claimed to have similar qualities to platinum, which I like. And I can confirm, it really looks like my platinum ring and the weight is very similar to platinum, maybe a scoach lighter. If you told me it was platinum I would believe you. I am very happy with those aspects of the ring. The only thing I am not happy with is that the ring is not as domed as it appears in the photo. It has a flatter profile and the edge is almost flat, not round like the picture seems to reflect. However, for the price, I can live with that flaw. Apart from that I am very happy with the ring and recommend it. It is definitely better than the cobalt ring I tried (and returned). It is an excellent ring for the price. So far it has held up well and does not appear to be susceptible to scratches. If you need need man's a wedding ring, don't waste your money on gold or platinum--you are just going to lose it eventually. By this ring. Heck, buy two of em so you have a back up.

I have other inexpensive rings where the dome is not quite symmetric or the ring not quite round. The color of these rings has been a bit off as well.This cobalt ring is a completely different story. I do have a platinum ring that I do not where every day. This ring matches the platinum ring's finish perfectly. I was very surprised by that. The dome is perfect. The edges and inner bevel of the ring are very well shaped. This ring is extremely comfortable to wear and very easy to slide on and off.For the money, color, and design/shape of the ring..this is an awesome buy.

Fit and finish are really nice, and it is a very comfortable ring to wear. It has a nice weight to it, and looks like a gem out of the box. But, it is quickly collecting scratches, a few of which are deep enough to feel with a fingernail, and will probably not buff out. That's actually ok with me; I feel a wedding band should show a little age and character. I wore a 10k gold band for years, and it was very similar about scratches. I don't regret choosing this ring, and hope to wear it for the rest of my life.I imagine this level of scratch resistance is consistent with all Cobalt/Chrome rings, but I am only commenting on this particular ring, as personal experience.

I don't usually feel compelled to write reviews about products that I purchase on Amazon, but I have to say, I am absolutely blown away by the quality and attractiveness of this ring. It seems to be very scratch resistant. It has a very reflective, high-polish finish that is visually indistinguishable from platinum. The fit is perfect and it has a good weight to it. There are certainly more affordable alternative metal options available, but I feel the price is extremely reasonable given the quality. I cannot recommend this ring highly enough. As an added bonus, my wife loves it too. Five stars.

My husband uses it as his wedding band. The sizing is difficult to get right because for some reason, different rings fit him differently. He says it's comfortable and nearly a year later it still shines nicely. We will probably upgrade to something nicer with stones in the future but this is great in the beginning or as a backup ring when working with his hands.

I bought this because I lost my white gold wedding band. I didn't want to get another white gold because it too expensive. I thought about getting the stainless steel but they weigh lighter than this. I am very happy with this ring. It was worth the price. Cheaper than the white gold for sure. I told my wife and she also wanted the same one. She wanted to match me. Go figure. I highly recommend this ring. I tell my friends that it's platinum. You really can't tell unless you hold it.

Great ring love it. Thick meaty ring has a low profile dome what Shane Co calls European comfort fit or what Blue Nile calls low dome comfort fit. Looks very white compared to my tungsten ring looks just like platinum or white gold. Love this ring cobalt chrome is the way to go.

Inexpensive ring but as the other reviewer had mentioned, its not quite round... its a bit thick but not bothersome to my hands. This ring is comfortable enough to be wear all day. I like the finish on this ring and quality wise, seems like durable and will not tarnish anytime soon. This is a great buy!
