LM2122E-SP Cordless 56v 52cm Self Propelled Lawnmower includes 7.5Ah Battery and Rapid Charger

Having never owned a battery-powered lawnmower, I wasn't sure what to expect, but was determined not to buy a lawnmower that used fossil fuel.We have a 750m2 lawn which grows very quickly, and I wasn't at all sure whether a battery-powered lawnmower would last long enough to cut through it all, or be powerful enough.It takes me about 50 minutes to an hour to mow the lawn. The battery has five indicator lights and, by the time I was done, it still had two lights left.It's worth mentioning that I have no interest in using the self-propelled feature (I actually enjoy pushing the lawnmower along), so that most likely saved a fair bit of battery power.I thought I'd have to get two batteries to be able to finish the job in one go, so this is pretty great--all the power and efficacy of our previous hand-me-down petrol mower with no downtime, no pollutants and no issues.Looks like we're bought into the Ego Power Plus ecosystem. Next up in the coming months: one hedge cutter, a line trimmer and a leaf blower.The one thing that I wish was different is the deck--I think a steel deck would've been a much better choice, but it seems sturdy enough.

As I am definitely past my “sell by date “ must admit to being literally gobsmacked ( in a pleasant way ) by not only the power but the running time of the mower - which goes to show how far battery technology has come along. Cut two lawns , roughly 1600 square meters total and all on a single charge. Granted the lawns do not have that freshly mown fine cut of a cylinder mower but a very reasonable job. Furthermore, the mower folds up simply and easily making it easy to store. OK, it’s not cheap but in my eyes at least worth the money. As a self propelled mower, putting it on full power - acts as a training aid for Olympic sprinters !

The convenience of being able to mov a medium to large lawn in one go without using petrol or a cable is awesome. Cuts well, nice adjustment. Huge Blsde deck maximises the cutting area and it pulls like a truck. Charging is easy and the battery lasts well. I mow for over an hour non stop on a demanding lawn and it lasts well. Charging is fast too. Good purchase. It has a heavy flexible skirt that drags behind the blades to create a striping effect which makes the lawn look nice too. The collection box is big too. I haven’t used it in mulch ejection mode, the grass was too long! So .... Goodbye petrol mowers that don’t start and smell and no more damned annoying cables limiting your movement.

Well made, easy to use and cuts well. It coped very well with our fairly uneven field. Much earlier to manoeuver than the petrol mower it replaced.

made a decision on the mower bought it .it was delivered next day by 12oclock it was up and running brilliant performanceand gave it a 5star rating

My machine worked well for 6 weeks then stopped working. Difficult to get response from EGO UK, finally found a friendly dealer near Stowmarket but can't get parts. Been without a proper mower for 7 weeks now. Worst thing I ever bought. Stick to Honda is my advice!
