Finally, I found heavy waterproof mitts that have the thumb in the right place and are thick enough to not leak heat when I have to hold something for a long time.The only flow I can find is on the edge above the base of the thumb where my index finger would go. When I pick up anything, it is so soft that it literally gets caught under the edge of whatever I am holding. It takes a little manuevering to uncatch it from the pan or pie plate, etc. Except for that little quirk, these gloves can't be beat. The lining is the advantage.

I have had other silicone ones before but they were not lined so they were only heat resistant for a short period of time. These are the best of both worlds, silicone which provides high heat resistance and easy clean up (oven mitts get dirty so fast!) and a quilted lining to provide heat resistance staying power. And they are big enough for my 6'4" husband to fit his paws into, which many other oven mitts we've tried were too small. These were an impulse buy when they were on a lightening deal or deal of the day a couple weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with them.

Pleased with these mitts. Able to grip extremely hot pots and pans with no problem. They are easy to clean the outside as well. The only complaint would be that the mitts are hot to the touch on the outside after handling a hot pot or pan but I'm thinking that is just part of using silicone instead of cloth. The brush is nothing fancy but I didn't purchase the mitts for that. I'm glad I grabbed these on a lightning deal.

Color is very nice, looks as brilliant as photo. In my opinion the addition of the quilted liner is a most excellent idea. I have no doubt they will be a great product. At this time I cannot attest anything further about this product since it is a Christmas gift.

Perfect. I love blue and I love that these fit the whole family and we don't get burned. I have it hanging on a hook I bought from the container store that I hang on the kitchen towel rack at the end of my Island. These would make an excellent gift!

Love these oven mitts. They are flexible enough to work with my hands and cover my wrists so I don't get burned. Love the color and work well so far. I have other silicone heat gloves that are stiff and difficult to use, I'm really going to love these!

I have only used these ones having received them recently and they appear to do a good job. My last set was cotton and i was burning my hands so I am trying silicone now.

Fantastic Oven gloves - do exactly what they're supposed to - no more burnt fingers/hands! Wish I had seen these gloves sooner - all other gloves I have had previously do not prevent the heat seeping through and burning your hands. These gloves are brilliant - the material lining is very comfortable and means the gloves fit your hands well without slipping off. The silicone is very flexible and makes removing hot items from the oven a breeze. Best oven gloves I have ever bought. Highly recommended.

Once you get past the feeling that you have placed your hands in Jelly, these are a seriously good item.With Normal traditional gloves. I still tend to feel heat - these ones have stayed cool all the time.One of the best products I have brought ... and I don't say that very often.

Just pulled out a shelf in my oven with these…the oven had been on 20 mins at 280. No heat came through, no marks on the gloves, no problem. They come well up your wrists and are very flexible giving excellent protection and grip. And I love the blue!

These gloves are pretty price you from what I would usually spend on something like this but they are worth it. They protect completely from heat, are easy to clean, you get two and you get a free pastry brush - which I will probably never use. Who has the time to make pastry never mind brush it? Gloves are awesome though,

Great gloves and the best of both worlds with a traditional cloth glove and a wipe clean surface. the silicone is nice and flexible unlike others I've tried on in the past. The brush is more flexible than the other we have too and perfect for basting.

Really nice quality gloves, good price on daily deal. These gloves have a really good grip and really keep the heat out.
