This diamond punch is not worth the money I paid for it!!!
This diamond punch is not worth the money I paid for it!!! It is off center when you squeeze the handle. It will not even cut thin typing paper. It is so hard to line up and squeeze to get the product you need in miniature making. I will never buy from Punchline or McGill again.

Better than the heart punch
...and better than a punch in the heart. Seriously though, this punch is good. It cuts through different weights of paper just fine, fast and clean. I don't scrapbook or craft, just punch holes in cards.I suspect some quality control issues with the Fiskar punches in general, judging by the reviews. The heart shaped punch I purchased with this one was a dud and couldn't cut through any paper. I think you will either get a good one or bad one.... in other words, your mileage may vary.

Very cute and easy
It works just like a regular hand-held hole punch, only it makes perfect diamond holes instead of round. It also has a comfy rubbery grip on the handles. Easy to use and pretty strong, can easily punch through cardstock (like index cards or greeting cards).Only one real complaint - it is kinda hard to tell where exactly the hole will end up. For example, it's hard to make a straight row of evenly spaced diamonds. There is a picture of a diamond near the punch, which helps a bit with alignment, but you still have to "eyeball" it.Better alignment aids would be beneficial on a product like this. One last thing to note - if you push the paper all the way into the device (all the way to the joint) - there's a sharp spot near the joint that will nick the edge of the paper. 5 stars.

Not very clean cut, but only diamond punch this size that I can find.
I'd like to love these, because I need this shape and can't find anything else out there that's better. But, I've bought 3 pairs and none of them really make a clean cut, and after a few dozen uses the tooth and anvil seem to get off center and really scrape when you use them. That said, they are cheap enough, and if you develop a technique you can get the punch you need. But precision devices these are not, nor should I really expect them to be.Overall I'd be willing to pay more for a cleaner cut that last longer.

Sturdy Puncher
The diamond puncher was the only one I could fine. Not sold locally in my city. The punch is way smaller than I expected. And it took some muscle to punch into my cardstock. However, the puncher seems very sturdy and was able to hold up. Width of diamond shape is about 1/8" and length is close to 1/4".

It may not give you the best results for artistic use
This is a difficult to find diamond shape hand punch. It has an okay quality. If you're looking for a general use hand punch, this will do the trick. It may not give you the best results for artistic use.

Perfect for our use
This is perfect for our use in hole punching a small pizza card. I would recommend this product.

Good but too pricey
I really like this puncher but later found some in a store for 75% less than this one.
