great idea; poor quality
My Dremel flexible shaft stopped working so I returned it. Dremel seem to have bumped their prices up so I looked at this as an alternative. I was so pleased when it arrived as it is a lot slimmer than the Dremel and fits in to smaller gaps/spaces.it feels good in the hand.HOWEVER; yesterday I was using it and it just came apart! I had about 25 minutes of use.The protective sleeve fits into a bushing at the Dremel end and seems to be anchored by two indentations. I was running the tool at about 17000rpm and the thing came away from the bushing and started lashing about. Maybe I got a duff version but I am majorly disappointed as otherwise its a well designed but of kit.

Poor manufacturing
Broke on first use. When i took it to bits I found the cable inside is not crimped tightly enough to the driven ends, so any sort of resistance makes it slip. Once this has happened all drive is lost. I have managed to fix mine by crimping and gluing properly but the original product supplied is basically useless. I do not recommend this item, especially for the price. 20 quid is a rip off for anything that does not work.

Don't waste your money?
A picture paints a 1000 words, in this case quite clearly. The whole unit came apart in my hands whilst in use engraving a piece of plywood? Not really a hard material. Lasted about a week. Up until that point I thought it was really good but to suddenly and spectacularly disintegrate in my hand was quite disconcerting. Overall experience? Well I will let the picture do the talking.

Great flexibility and value for money
There seemed to be caring reviews for this. I’ve had it a few days and so far so good. Fits to my Dremmel fine, and once i’ve fixed down my main unit it proves much greater flexibility for detail work. Don’t know how long it will last but looking good so far and have no issues!

Good product
This is a great tool for using on fragile components if you have a speed adjuster on whatever motor you have connected to. Its well made, and the price is very reasonable. I would reccomend this product.

Good buy.
So far so good, working well when I use it, and i would say way better than my old, ( although not that old really) one, it used to get red hot and not work at all.Hopefully it will keep up the good work.

Good value for money.
Great little bit of kit .put it on my dremel and its so much easier to use .so far no problems .
