We have a few fruit tress in the yard and over the last couple years, rats and squirrels were taking every last piece of fruit from the trees before they got ripe and left us with absolutely nothing. Ordered this with high expectations that it would drive the little pests out of the yard. It seemed to work at first, allowing the fruit to get closer to ripening than in previous years, but at one point we noticed fruit on the ground and in the trees with bite marks on them. Tried a variety of the frequencies over the last several weeks, but every night more fruit was lost. In the end, the result was the same, Pests 100%, Home owners 0%. So, while this product seemed to initially work, it didn't prevent the pests from overcoming it and getting to the prize.

Purchased this to detour squirrels and cats from eating and defecating in my garden.

I'm only giving this a 4 because I can't say for sure that it works perfectly but so far this spring I have had no critter issues in the garden so far these first 4 weeks, and we haven't fenced it in electric wire yet, because we're hoping we don't have to. So far it works, we got 3 and put them all around trying to protect a larger area. The sound it puts out gets louder when you walk near it so I assume it'll do that to an animal as well. I also didn't realize that the eyes in it light up at night and flash when anything gets near it, so assume that will scare of animals!

I could hear no solar sound so I wrote to the seller via Amazon and no response arrived. It would assist to have a better manual. It states to email the company with any questions, but no email is provided. I had to learn, in order for the solar to give its disturbing shriek, I had to move my hand in front of it to hear the emitting sounds. I know it is now working. Plus, the manual does not state what setting repels rabbits. A kind person told me to use setting one so I am trying this to keep Sweet Thing the Bunny from eating my flowers.

I was camping weekly at some wooded property I own, and every night I'd hear a lot of movement in the dark around my tent. Not being used to these noises, I always stayed awake getting little sleep until day break. That's when I decided to purchase this Ultrasonic Animal Repeller. I like how it's solar-powered, and has many different frequencies and motion detection distances to choose from. So the first weekend I used it, I was awakened by an animal that apparently tripped this Repeller and was scared by the sound. Because after the scream (yes, I said scream), it sounded like truck bee-lined it into the woods. Come morning, I went outside and saw the bear tracks leading all the way up to this device, and then off into the woods. Good product. Greatly recommend! And I'll probably get another for the other side of my tent.

Probably got 2 months in the dry summer out of it... worked well to keep raccoons off a newly sodded backyard area. On the nights we forgot to turn it on, the animals came back. So 5 stars on working in a pinch... just didn't last once the rains came - stopped turning on, the high pitched noise (which you can kinda hear), got all garbled and stopped working.

This stopped working completely several months after buying it. No wonder it’s no longer available to buy… it does not work. And there is no place to get a hold of anyone at customer service even though the instructions say to contact them by email - but no email is provided.
